Global Design Project #024 | CASE the Designer

This week we are CASing the Designer –   Copy and Selectively Edit.
The lucky designer is Michelle Last, love her card ….
Love BLUE….anything BLUE and I’m hooked and then with the butterfly added…
I’m in seventh heaven.
Have you seen it?
Here it is!
GDP024
Isn’t it beautiful, so cool, so refreshing.ahhhhh! Love it!

BUT!
I didn’t use blue nor butterfly’s…I decided to do something a little different.
I used the layout as it also caught my eye and I wanted to have a play with a new set I just bought.
So here is my card.

Don’t know if it had to do with the weather as its very hot!
But I used what I would call warm tropical colours instead of the lovely cool blue tones.
Love this new set of Framelits – Botanical Builder Framelits Dies,
the matching Designer Series Paper – Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper
and co-ordination card stock –  Botanical Gardens Cardstock Pack
 along with Mint Macaron.
The Happy Birthday came from Rose Wonder Photopolymer Stamp Set
The inside of the card I used a smaller flower and a strip of the designer series paper mounted on white with a Mint Macaron boarder.

Hope you enjoyed my card….see you next week.

  1. Lovely card – making me feel warm just looking at it and we could do with some warmth over here.

Thanks Fiona….wish I could send some of this heat to you, but them in a few months I’ll be complaining its too cold

How hot was it today! I was in and out of the office all day which meant in and out of air con. Each time I got back in the car it was like an oven by the time I arrived to the next location the car had cooled down to just get hot again. Bring on a little cooler weather, I say.

I have that range of DSP and Thinlits sitting on my desk to be used and I think it is the warmer weather that inspired me to pull it out.

Now, onto your card. LOVE what you have created with inspiration from Michelle Last! Thank you for playing at Global Design Project.
