Global Design Project #120 – CASE the Designer
This is the first Global Design Project Challenge for 2018 and this week we are Casing one of the Design Team Members- Krista Frattin.
What does it mean to CASE….
CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit
To see what the other design team have done for this challenge go to Global Design Project there are some very beautiful cards.
For this card I have used products from Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue – Petal Passion Suite on page 22.
This is a simple card to make, it is just layering the different elements on top of one another and adding texture by using different types of cardstock e.g. Vellum, foil and watercolour papers.
How to……
- The Watercolour Paper was coloured with the Brusho Crystal Colour – Prussian Blue and Red, stamped with the bird image and cut with the matching thinlits.
- The frame was made by using two of the square Stitched framelits – placing the smaller one inside the larger and running it through the Big Shot.
- All the elements were layered on top of each other, finishing with the vellum banner threaded over and under the frame
- The inside of the card was finished with a sheet of Whisper White cardstock and stamped with a leaf image in Basic Black (stamped off to lighten ) and Old Olive Ink.
Thanks for stopping by today…if you have any questions about this card or any of the products used please contact me.
