Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.
On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele’, I created this fun card using the On Display Bundle — a sneak peek of products coming in the November Online Exclusives by Stampin’ Up!®.
This was such a fun project to make, filled with lots of small stamps, dies, and detailed elements. The best part is deciding what to place in each section of the display cabinet — it’s like creating your own little showcase!
This bundle is also a great way to use up those leftover scraps of cardstock and Designer Series Paper you’ve been holding onto.
💡 Tip: Before die cutting, back your cardstock with Adhesive Sheets. It makes assembling all those tiny, fiddly pieces so much easier!

The challenge this month for the Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop is by Maheswari by Stampin’ Up!®.
The challenge Guide: CASE One of these designs using the Mini Catalogue products and Share it in your version!
CASE-ing a Festive Card with the Traditions of Christmas Suite
The card I chose to CASE today is the bottom right design with the three teacups. I loved the clean and simple layout, so I decided to recreate it using the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! ®.
This is a simple card design where the Designer Series Paper (DSP) really does most of the work, with just a few die-cut images to add interest. The only stamping is the sentiment, created with the Traditional Labels stamp set and coordinating dies.
This is a simple card, made using some Designer Series Paper and a few die cut images. The only stamping was the sentiment from the Traditional Labels with one of the coordinating dies.
Card Details
✨ Card Base & Background The Cherry Cobbler card base is completely covered with the Cherry Cobbler Dot DSP, running edge to edge. To break it up, I layered a strip of the Poinsettia DSP down the center.
✨ Focal Point For the poinsettia flower, you have two options: stamp and die cut, or simply cut the flower directly from the DSP. I chose the second option—it’s quick, easy, and still beautiful.
✨ Leaves & Holly The leaves were die cut from the two-tone cardstock in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. By flipping the cardstock and cutting from both sides, I was able to create variation in the tones of the holly leaves, giving extra depth and dimension.
✨ Sentiment The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder—a perfect match for the gold foiling that runs through the Poinsettia DSP. To finish, I die cut the sentiment with one of the coordinating Traditional Label Dies.

I absolutely love the black, white, and gold papers in this collection. One side of the Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper features modern black and white designs, while the other side includes stunning gold foiling. Add a dramatic pop of bold colour to the black and white, and it truly makes your project shine! ✨
This particular card design was inspired by one I saw on Instagram, originally created by Sonja Mehl. I’ve adapted her measurements slightly to suit our standard card sizes.

Welcome to my Blog! Today I am excited to be taking part in the Scrapbook Global Blog Hop.
I’m joining some amazingly talented Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world, and we’re so happy you’re here! Our goal is to inspire you with creative ideas that you can take and make your own.
You’ll find the links to all the other participants at the bottom of this post—be sure to check them out for even more inspiration.
This month’s Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop theme is Flip Flaps—using them in a Scrapbooking Layout or a Mini Album.
Sherry Roth is our Creative Design Team Member who chose this cool theme…
The photos I chose are of my family opening gifts and sharing lots of laughs together. This Christmas was extra special—it was the first time in many years that all four of my boys were home to celebrate on Christmas Day. Needless to say, we took a lot of photos (and I mean a lot!).
The original layout was designed to feature just three photos, but I had 14 that I wanted to include. Many of them had quite a bit of empty space, so trimming them down to 3″ x 3″ allowed me to highlight the best parts of each image. By also turning my page to a different orientation, I was able to fit in even more photos. It’s a simple change, but it really opened up the layout and gave me the flexibility to tell a bigger story on a single page.
✨ “All four of my boys together for Christmas—so many smiles, so many memories captured in one special day.”
That’s where Flip Flaps really came in handy! They let me showcase the photos I loved most on the outside, while tucking the extras neatly behind. By flipping them open, you can still see every memory—and I even had space to hide some journaling underneath.
❤️ “Flip Flaps let me keep every little memory in one layout—14 photos of love and joy!”
The lighting in some of my photos wasn’t perfect, but it’s amazing how trimming them down and pairing them with bright, cheerful papers really makes them come alive on the page.
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing a little creative time with me today. I hope my project has given you some inspiration to try Flip Flaps on your own layouts or albums. Don’t forget to follow the links below to see all the other amazing projects in this month’s Scrapbook Global Blog Hop—we can’t wait to inspire you even more!

If you love these papers and would like some extra guidance in creating your layouts, Stampin’ Up! offers theKeeping Traditions Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. This kit includes step-by-step cutting and placement guides to create three double-page layouts with ease.
The Designer Series Paper in the Workshop Kit follows the same design concept as the Suite Collection DSP, but with a few key differences: there’s no gold foiling and it also features a couple of specialty papers that are exclusive to the kit. Along with the papers, you’ll receive all the double-sided cardstock, stickers, and die cuts you need.
If you prefer more flexibility, you can purchase just the Traditions of Christmas DSP with Sticker Sheet, which does include the gold foiling. So many beautiful options to choose from depending on your crafting style!
Sketch I used…
While browsing Pinterest, I came across a scrapbook sketch that I just had to try. After some searching, I traced it back to Allison Davis.blog, where she shares an amazing collection of free sketches. This particular design comes from Sketch Week #1| How to Use and Adapt Scrapbook Sketches | Day 1, and you can even download the sketch details directly from her site.

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.
“On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele,’ I created this card using a watercolouring technique with the Impressions AbloomBundle by Stampin’ Up! ®.”
The card design itself is very simple—white on white. I wanted to add just a touch of texture without introducing extra colour so that the watercoloured flowers and leaves remained the true highlight.
I chose five colours: three for the flower petals, one for the centres, and a green for the leaves. I approached this as a practice session, preparing at least two sheets of watercolour paper for each colour and simply playing. To add interest, I experimented with techniques like sprinkling salt or flicking water to create different textures. Don’t be afraid to try new things—you never know what effects you might discover!
Be sure to let the paper dry completely before die-cutting so you achieve clean cuts. Once you’ve cut the pieces you need, keep the leftovers—they’ll be perfect for future projects.

Each month, we explore a new creative theme or fun challenge, bringing you a variety of styles and techniques to try. There’s always something new to learn and love!
The challenge this month for the Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop is by Nancy and I am using the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up!®.
The challenge Guide: Use products from your stash (maybe ones that are feeling a bit neglected) and create something new and on trend by combining it with a select few new items. The aim of this challenge is to show you can create exciting cards with old products
Nests of Winter
The Nest of Winter Designer Series Paperfirst appeared in last year’s Mini Catalogue, and I was so happy to see it carried over into the current Annual Catalogue. Since this challenge is all about using products that may be retired or sometimes forgotten, I thought it was the perfect excuse to pull it out of my stash and create a card with it.
The challenge was to combine something from your stash that maybe a little forgotten with something NEW! ✨ For my card, I paired the Nest of Winter DSP with the pine tree branches from the Christmas Greenery Bundle and a label from the Traditional Labels Bundle—both are part of the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection. To finish it off, I added a sentiment from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera, which tied everything together beautifully.
These new products will be available in the September–December Mini Catalogue, open for orders from 3rd September.
Other Products and Tips
Sentiment has an adhesive backing- remove the sticky by pouncing the Embossing Buddy on the sticky side. Then add mini dimensionals to adhere to your card front and give lift over the branches.
Bird was fussy cut from the DSP and added with dimensionals.
To give some some bling to the finished card I added the clear & gold gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems

It’s been a while since I last did any water colouring, and I’d forgotten just how much fun it is! I know a lot of people feel a little hesitant to give it a try, but honestly—it’s all about experimenting and playing. If you’re new to it, I recommend grabbing a simple, inexpensive pad of watercolour paper and just having a go. Test out different techniques, see how the colours move, and find what feels right for you.
In the video below, you’ll see my favourite way to water colour and the effects I love to achieve. I’d love to know if you give it a try—let me know in the comments what technique you enjoyed most!
