On Friday’s ‘Live with Michele’ I created two cards using two different Suite Collections, Storybook Moments Suite and Botanical Textures Suite by Stampin’ Up!®.
Both cards were created using the same sketch, Casing a card I saw on Facebook. I’m sorry I don’t have the name who created the card I saw. I loved the simplicity of it, I have changed it slightly and used different products. As this style of card can be created with different products and will always looks great.

My Sketch Book
My sketch book is a book that Stampin Up!® gave us a couple of years ago and I use it to jot down ideas I see….sketches for cards and scrapbooks either ones I have seen or ideas I’ve created, colour combinations- you see them everywhere…Children’s clothing in Big W or in catalogues….I once even used a layout and colour combo from the back of a Nutragrain box – including the words they used (ironman).

What I love about this book is it has a ‘Dot Grid’ on the pages and I find it great for helping me to draw straight lines…(I’m a bit OCD about this) I can also use the grid for keeping my sketch in proportion…meaning each square is either = 1cm or 1″
