Thanks for joining me on another Creativity Abounds Blog Hop, I have created a great card using product from the Boughs of Holly Suite. This is a simple Easel Card and a good one to start with if you have never made this style of card before.

Come and JOIN me at Boughs of Holly Stamp Camp it is 24 hours of FUN and INSPIRATION

Join me and the other Demonstrators from the Creativity Abounds Design Team on a 2 day International Stamp Camp. Dates for this event are 29-30th October were we will be featuring the Boughs of Holly.

Our design team comes from all over the globe so every 2 hours (Approx.) there will be another project and challenges happening. Brightest Beauty- Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

Our theme this month is Anything But Christmas. This is where we can use any product from the Stampin’ Up! ® Catalogues and make a card that doesn’t have a Christmas theme and as we are now getting closer to Christmas and the Stampin’ Up! ® Mini Catalogue is all about the Holiday Seasons it’s good to just make something not holiday related.

My cards in both the Blog Hop and the Tutorial focus on….

Brightest Beauty

Last Friday on my ‘Live with Michele’ I created a stamped 12 x 12″ Designer Series Paper(DSP) to be used in my Wedding Scrapbook Album. I also created a piece on A4 Basic White Cardstock and decided to use this piece to create this card.

The base of my card I used Sahara Sand Cardstock and made a mat using the Split Card Textures Dies. The mat piece I used the Blending Brushes and Soft Suede Stampin’ Pad to go around the edges and die cut areas to add a little colour.

The DSP I cut down slightly smaller than my mat and tore down one side at a angle giving me a rough edge. I again added Soft Suede ink to all my edges….I just wanted to give it a earthy sort of tone.

The sentiment is from the Go to Greetings Stamp Set. This is such a great set using four basic greetings like – Happy Birthday, Just a Note, Thank You and Thinking of you and 3 different fonts. This will be my go to set for sentiments. The sentiment was die cut out using the frame die from the Brightest Beauty Bundle.

I finished of the card by adding a generous triple bow, and the sentiment just sits below but with parts of the bow under caught under it. Some Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots

On the inside of my card I have added an insert using a piece of DSP where I hadn’t stamped all the way. So if you don’t like adding lots of writing it’s perfect.

Hues of Happiness – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

Welcome to Creativity Abounds Blog Hop, our theme this month is ‘Hues of Happiness Suite Collection‘. I will be making this card as part of our July Hues of Happiness Stamp Camp. Hope all our ideas inspire you to create a special card.

July is World Watercolor Month, and we have lots of watercolouring products to celebrate! Pencils, paper, stamps and more. Take a look at what we have to offer.

Using the images from Hues of Happiness Suite and watercolour Fluid 100, I have embossed and coloured the roses and leaves for my card.

He’s the Man – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

For my card this month I am using the ‘He’s the Man Suite Collection’ from the 2022-23 Annual Catalogue. This suite contains He’s all That Cling Stamps, All That Dies…..remember you can purchase these as a He’s all That Bundle and get 10% Discount. There is also He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper, that has 12 sheets in it – 2 each 5 double-side designs and 2 sheets die-cut sheets. Plus Rustic Metallic Adhesive backed Dots.

Card Front Sahara Sand – 9.7 x 14.1cm, Using Blending Brushes blend Soft Succulent ink over the card front leaving a lighter area in the middle.
Sentiment Sahara Sand – 7 x 7cm, stamped using Early Espresso Ink and die cut with coordinating circle die. Add Crumb Cake Bakers Twine to the back of sentiment along with dimensionals
Die cut Soft Succulent – 5 x 10cm, cut 2 diamond die cuts

In Color 2022-24 Creativity Abounds Blog Hop May
