Mini Gift Bag

Hi and welcome today to my Blog.

For something a little bit different I have made these cute Mini Gift Bags which can hold a couple of sweets or a small piece of jewellery. It uses a piece of 15.2 x 15.2cm (6 x 6″) Designer Series Paper along with cardstock for handles and tag.

I did make this a few years ago using the Stampin’ Up! ® Envelope Punch Board and have a video on my YouTube Chanel HERE. I have remade this video showing how to make the same bag but without the use of a Punch Board. All the Measurements are below for you to print off.

Frosted Gingerbread Bundle – October Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

Welcome to Creativity Abounds Blog Hop.   We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you.  We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

Our theme for this month is any Christmas Bundle.

This card uses the dies from the Stampin’ Up! ® Frosted Gingerbread Bundle. I wanted to show how you can use a part of the bundle to create something very different from what the bundle was intended for. With the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle you can create Gingerbread cookies and Christmas Peppermints to decorate your projects.

For my card I have used the snowflake cookie shape dies which come in 2 parts, one to cut the shape of the cookie and the other die to cut the decorative top for the cookie shape.

This card uses the dies from the Stampin' Up! ® Frosted Gingerbread Bundle

I only used the decorative die from the snow flake to make the snowflakes for my card. Placing Adhesive sheets into the back of the Basic White cardstock and then die cutting allowed me to easily adhere the snowflakes onto the basic white cardstock card front.

After covering the card front with snowflakes I went over the card front with Balmy Blue Stampin’ Pad and Blending Brush creating an ombra effect.

This card uses the dies from the Stampin' Up! ® Frosted Gingerbread Bundle

Be Jolly- Facebook Live Friday

Hi and welcome today to my Blog.

I love this card…it took a bit of work and it turned out so well!

I made this card using the Be Jolly Stamps found in the July- December 2021 Mini Catalogue by Stampin’ Up!®

In 2016 I made a card for Global Design Project- Hey, Chick using the same layout. But instead of a chick stamped on an oval, Santa is fussy cut and sitting on a rectangle of vellum.

Below are all the cutting measurements plus the video showing how I Stamped, coloured and cut this card.

Measurements Used…

  • Card Base Garden Green – 10.5 x 29.9cm, score at 14.9cm
  • Card Front Mat Real Red- 10 x 14.4cm
  • Card Front crumb Cake- 10 x 14.9cm
  • Vellum Scrap- cut with Stitched Rectangle Die measured approx 3.5 x 8.7cm
  • Basic White Scrap to stamp Santa
  • Basic Black Scrap- smallest Taylor Made Tag Die
  • Card Insert Basic White- 10 x 14.4cm

Delicate Dahlias

Hi and welcome today to my Blog.

Back in August I took part in Kylie and Bruno’s 2021 Australia Wide Card Swap. My card I made for this uses the Delicate Dahlias from the Stampin’ Up!® July -Septerber 2021 Sale-A-Bration (SAB) Catalogue.

There is only a few days left in the SAB as it finishes on the 30 September..see the SAB Catalogue HERE

Spend $90 or $180 from our other two catalogues and choose a product/s from the SAB for FREE…Shop HERE

The technique I used in this card is the same as the card I did back in July – Delicate Dahlias. This time I cut the Basic White cardstock into 7cm squares.

Below I have added the video by Kylie & Bruno showing all the swaps done by Australian Demo’s.

Thank you for stopping by and reading my Blog. I hope you have enjoyed my projects & that you’re inspired to get crafty!

Whimsy and Wonder Suite by Stampin' Up!

I am a traditional Christmas girl but this suite is just stunning….It is soft and whimsical. I love all the different style trees from the traditional Christmas tree to the Folk Art trees and they work so well together.

This card is a fun and simple project to create and when you open it up there is a pocket to hold a Gift Card for giving at Christmas.

Harvest Meadow

You know when you go to bed at night and you try to clear your mind of everything that has happened during the day…Do you find that’s when the best ideas happen? Then you have to hold onto them until the morning so you can make it reality. Well that’s what happened to me the other night.

Harvest Meadow Suite is probably the one suite that I have really enjoyed playing with from the Stampin’ Up! ® 2021 Jul- Dec Mini Catalogue. I love the silhouette dies- Harvest Dies and the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper. I love the colours and how beautifully they work together.

Harvest Meadow Suite By Stampin' Up!®2021 July December mini Catalogue

Here I have tried to create a them of ‘Harvest – Country life’… I grew up in the southern region of NSW called the Riverina- MIA (Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area) in a little town called Leeton. This is a rice & fruit growing area and relies heavily on Irrigation. So the different layers in my card is the fields, distant hills and sun setting over the rice.

I love how this card has come together just like I imagined.
