Today we were up at 5am having breakfast, getting dressed and out the door by 6.15am. Why? Our 2nd eldest son, had to be in Wollongong to join the Navy. For almost 2 years we have been sending him off to interviews and medicals and anything else that was required. Filled in forms, signed forms, copied things in triplicate right up to last Friday. And today was THE day.
He is now a member of the Australian Navy, well done. A new adventure begins!

January has almost come to an end……..Last Saturday my family and I drove to Blackheath in the Blue Mountains to meet up with my parents, sister, Brother In-law, niece and nephews. We had a lovely picnic in a park called The Gardens under this large tree. In the afternoon a storm came over so it was a quick pack up of to a local coffee shop.
So great seeing them.
Monday was Australia Day, Joe, Hayden, Robert went to Berrima. Every year Berrima puts on the best Australia Day fare and Street Parade, got some lovely photo’s.
Today Robert and Patrick have gone back to School…….Robert to Year 10 and Patrick to Year 8.
Tuesday, Aaron had an accident in Sydney, thankfully he is OK
This coming Monday will see Hayden join the Navy.

Hi everyone!
Along with the New Year I have a new blog……this is due to things happening we couldn’t control. So with a few tears from and from my family as I pull out my hair. Here it is!
It’s still in building mode and things aren’t quite working yet..but I can blog. So join me in this wondrous adventure called technology.

How was your Christmas? Mine didn’t feel like Christmas this year, it took forever to get the tree decorated….it was up but until the weekend before Christmas not one decoration was to be seen.

Santa came and everyone was pleased with what they received.

New Year…hmmmmmm, New Years Eve Joe came home from work and I told him we were going to the movies. Just the two of us..”WONDERFUL”. We went and say Water Diviner, a beautiful movie and a few tears were shed. Well we were home by 8pm and in bed by 10pm. That was New Years Eve.
New Years day was quite, so I got started on my Project Life Album using Stampin’ Up! products.
Over the next few days it was trips to the photo shop getting prints….self serve Grrrrrrrrr! But it was worth it.
