Nests of Winter

For today’s card I used the Nests of Winter Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! ®, found on page 30 & 31 of the current 2024 Mini Catalogue Sept- Jan. The idea for this layout was cased from Patty Bennett.

This is a very simple card and the foundation of the card is a good base using any Designer Series Paper, stamps & dies.

I have created added texture to the card by stamping a small image on the left side of the card base using ink the same colour as the cardstock, Gray Granite on Gray Granite. I also inked the edges of the card base and Designer Series Paper with Copper Clay ink. This just gives the cardstock a little more warmth.

Leaves were die cut in Granny Apple Green and Garden Green and also coloured with ink….Garden Green on the Granny Apple Green leaves and Copper Clay on the Garden Green leaves.

All the details are in the YouTube Video linked below….
