Moonlit Flora WV Fun Fold

Published on July 19, 2026July 19, 2026 by Michele Jutrisa

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, fresh ideas, or simply a creative escape, I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

In this week’s Live with Michele, I created a WV Fun Fold Card featuring the beautiful Stampin’ Up!® Moonlit Flora Suite Collection.

The card base is made from Solid Core Cardstock, while the decorative layers use Designer Series Paper and Two-Tone Cardstock. Using Two-Tone Cardstock helps keep the overall card lighter, as it’s slightly thinner than standard cardstock while still providing a lovely coordinating layer.

If you’re concerned about the finished card becoming too bulky for posting, simply leave off the mat layers on Card Base A and add mat layers to Card Base B only. You’ll still achieve the beautiful layered look while keeping the card slimmer and easier to mail.

Wild Bunch Swing Card

Published on June 27, 2026June 27, 2026 by Michele Jutrisa

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

I’ve wanted to make a Swing Card ever since creating my Swing Easel Card last Christmas, and I’m so glad I finally gave it a try. It was so much fun to make, and I already know I’ll be creating more!

For this interactive card, I used the Stampin’ Up!® Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite Collection along with the June Product of the Month – Wild Bunch. Although the Wild Bunch stamps have now sold out, you can easily recreate this design by substituting another feature element, such as one of the larger butterflies from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite.

Gently pull the sides of the card and watch the center panel swing open to reveal the greeting panel hidden on the back. It’s a clever design that’s sure to delight the recipient while still folding to fit inside a standard envelope for both Australian and US card sizes.

Below you’ll find a free printable tutorial, along with links to my YouTube video tutorial, where I guide you through each step of creating this fun Swing Card.

If you enjoy my tutorials and would like to support my work, I’d really appreciate it if you could Like and Share my YouTube channel. You can also support me by using the “Buy Me a Coffee” link below. Every little bit helps me continue creating tutorials and sharing inspiration with you.

Thank you so much for your support, and happy crafting!

How to Make a Scalloped Blooms Easel Card | Stampin’ Up!®

Published on June 8, 2026June 8, 2026 by Michele Jutrisa

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On Friday’s Live with Michele, I created this fun easel card using products from the Bloom Boutique Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!®.

Golden Glow isn’t a colour I would normally choose for a card base, but I have to admit, it works beautifully for this project. It adds a lovely warmth and pairs perfectly with the floral elements. I think I’ll be reaching for this colour more often!

One of my favourite features of this card is the large Gingham Designer Series Paper. This is actually a Sneak Peek of the NEW 2026–2028 In Color Gingham Gallery 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, which will be available in July. The fresh gingham patterns coordinate beautifully with the floral designs and add a cheerful touch to the card.

Layered Flowers and Foliage Details

I also love the combination of layered cardstock, gingham patterns, and floral Designer Series Papers. The dimensional flowers were created using the Two-Tone Cardstock and the Scalloped Blooms Dies, with the flower centres cut from the coordinating Gingham paper.

To add extra interest and texture, I alternated between the light and dark sides of the Two-Tone Cardstock when creating the flower layers. Each layer was gently scrunched and lightly sanded, allowing the contrasting core colour to show through. This simple technique creates wonderful depth and texture.

The leaves, cut using the Boutique Blossoms Dies, were also created from both sides of the Two-Tone Cardstock and lightly sanded to coordinate with the flowers and enhance the overall design.

To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set, stamped with Crisp Cantaloupe Classic Stampin’ Pad, which ties in beautifully with the warm floral colour palette.

Cute as a Bug – Cross Over Shutter Card

Published on April 27, 2026April 27, 2026 by Michele Jutrisa

On Live with Michele, I created this fun fold card using the Cute as a Bug Suite Collection. It’s currently available in the Mini Catalogue—but only for a few more days!

I went down a bit of a rabbit hole trying to find the official name for this fold… and came up empty. So I first called it a Crossover Shutter Card, then later thought maybe Twisted Shutter Card suited it better. Honestly, whatever you call it, it’s a fantastic fold! It looks quite intricate, but it’s actually really simple to put together.

I absolutely love these mushrooms—they’re so easy to cut and colour. To add a little extra detail, I used the new White Gel Pens, which are perfect for highlighting and adding texture. These will be available soon with the release of the May–August Catalogue.

And did you notice those cute scalloped circles behind the mushrooms? That’s another little sneak peek of what’s coming soon… 👀

Lovely Blossoms Card & Stampin’ Repositioner

Published on February 1, 2026February 1, 2026 by Michele Jutrisa

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On Friday’s Live with Michele, I played with the Lovely Blossoms Suite Collection and had a good play with the NEW Stampin’ Positioner by Stampin’ Up!®.

Tri-Fold card using the lovely Blossoms Suite Collection

This is such a fun, simple card to make, and the Positioner makes stamping so easy. I showed how I stamped the sentiment down the side (still practising that spacing 😅) and how effortlessly you can get great ink coverage when stamping the leaves.

My favourite tip came from my gorgeous friend Heather – The Songbird Stamper, who shared a brilliant way to use the small alignment plate to stamp on already die-cut banners. If you like to cut first and stamp later, this is a total game changer!

JOY Easel Card

Published on November 15, 2025November 15, 2025 by Michele Jutrisa

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

Today I have another Easel Card to share with you, created with the beautiful Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up!®.

I’m really enjoying this paper pack—it’s so versatile and makes creating festive projects quick and easy. For this card, I wanted something simple but striking, so I used the Party Alphabet Dies to spell out the word JOY as my main focal point. The clean letters paired with the patterned paper give the card a fresh, modern look while still keeping that classic Christmas feel.

Easel Cards are always a favourite of mine because they stand so nicely on display, and this one came together so effortlessly with these products.

Painterly Pears, Horizontal Quadruple Z Fold

Published on August 12, 2025August 12, 2025 by Michele Jutrisa

Hi and welcome today to my Blog.

On Sunday, some friends and I got together on Zoom for a crafty play session with another Z-Fold card design. Taking inspiration from Susan Campfield, we created a Horizontal Quadruple Z-Fold. Since I’ve been using the Painterly Pears suite for my other Z-Fold cards, I decided to keep the theme going and feature it on this one as well.

How to make this card…

Tips:

Card bases- Cut 2 Card Bases and score. Use the second card base to cut the 4 strips at 2cm as required. This way you are sure of having 4 strips all scored the same.
Strips- Adhere the top and bottom first then adhere the 2 middle strips, spacing evenly.
Side Panels- Emboss with embossing folder. these will cover where the strips are attached to the card base.

	Colour	Imperial/Letter	Metric/A4
Card Base	Basic Beige	9 x 4¼”, score at 1¾”, 3 ½”	24.9 x 10.5cm, score 5, 10cm
Strips- cut x 4	Basic Beige	9 x ¾”, score at 1¾”, 3 ½”	24.9 x 2cm, score 5, 10cm
Side panel Mat x 2	Basic Beige	1¾ x 4¼”	5 x 10.5cm
Strips- cut x 4	DSP	3⅝ x ⅝”	9.6 x 1.7cm
Side Panel	DSP	1⅝ x 4⅛”	4.7 x 10.2cm
Back Panel Mat	Petal Pink	5¼ x 4”	14.4 x 10cm
Back Panel	Basic Beige	5⅛ x 3⅞”	14.1 x 9.7cm
Back Panel Strip	DSP	5⅛ x ½”	14.1 x 1.3cm
Sentiment Circle- large	Petal Pink	3 x 3”	8 x 8cm
Sentiment Circle- small	Basic Beige	2½ x 2½”	7 x 7cm

Painterly Pears Triple Z-Fold Card – Part 2

Published on August 5, 2025August 3, 2025 by Michele Jutrisa

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On Friday’s ‘Live with Michele’, I created a Triple Z-Fold Card using the Painterly Pears Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!®

Fruit-themed suites aren’t usually my first pick, but I’m absolutely loving the rich colours in this one! In fact, on this card, the pears almost fade into the background, allowing the vibrant hues and floral elements to take centre stage.

To continue exploring fun ways to use Z-Fold styles, I’ve taken it a step further and created a Triple Z-Fold Card—and I love how it turned out!

TIP: Below is a cutting diagram showing how I created the Secret Sea card bases from one sheet of cardstock. It works for both A4 and Letter-sized cardstock.
Each layer is scored into three sections—Left, Middle, and Right. The Middle sections must all be the same width to ensure your card folds flat. The Left and Right sections can be any width you choose, depending on your design.

This month’s theme is:

Boho Vibes

For this month’s challenge, I decided to create a Masculine Birthday Card using the Boho Vibes Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!®.

I had fun playing with a layered design—this card features two cards of different sizes, each opening in opposite directions and overlapping one another for a unique and interactive layout. The earthy tones and bold patterns from the Boho Vibes Suite made it perfect for a masculine look with plenty of style!

The simple black and white sentiment comes from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera pack.

The card was then finished of with a few white Matte Dots from the Neutral Matte Dots.

Card Base 1	Secret Sea	5½ x 7”, score @ 2¾”	14.9 x 17cm, score at 6.5cm
