The card I made last week is made using the Fancy Flora Suite Collection, which I made on my ‘Live with Michele’. every Friday at 1pm (AEDT). This week I was running a bit late having too much fun playing with this suite. Have added the link to the video below.
There is a lot is this suite –
Two-Tone Flora Bundle – two step stamps flowers, easy to line up for six beautiful flowers and two one-step leaves. This also has the coordinating dies to cut out your stamped images.
Something Fancy Bundle – 10 sentiments and frame dies that could be used on any card or scrapbook layout
On Friday’s ‘Live’ I created the card below using the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. This paper coordinates with the Dainty Delight Bundle found in the Mini Catalogue. Purchasing the Dainty Delight Bundle for $96.25 (AUD), allows you to choose an item for FREE from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue and why not make that the Dainty Flowers DSP.
Measurements Used..
** By using a larger piece of DSP to cut your circle you can decided which portion of the flowers you want to use.
Don’t know why but I couldn’t upload my live as I would normally do…don’t you just love the world of technology….But instead click on the image above and it will take you to my YouTube Live.

Today on my ‘Live’ I created this great Fun Fold, this is another interesting find on Instagram that I just had to try. I have used the Hand-Penned Petal Stamps and coordinating Penned Flowers Dies. The Designer Series Paper used for this card is from the Dainty Flowers 12 x12″ found in the current Sale-A-Bration. When you spend $90 or $180 you can earn a product for FREE from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. Links to Catalogues and my Online Store can be found towards the end of my post.
The card I made on my Live this week is a ‘Fun Fold Stepper Inspiration with a hidden Note‘. I found this card while going through some Instagram Reels, it was made by Yasmin Diaz. I have made it using the Framed Florets Bundle, Cane Weave 3D Embossing folder and the sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments Stamps by Stampin’ Up!®.
I like this card because it is different from any other card I’ve seen. They have called it a step card but there is only a small step and I think if you made the step more pronounced the actual card would become very thing and tall looking. Hidden in the middle of the card is a tent fold Note Card where you can write your greeting.
After the Live had finished I decided to add White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon to the Note Card, tied so the bow is at the side. Just so the person who receives the card can see there is a hidden Note card with a message.
Blends to colour the flowers and Leaves –
Granny Apple green
Old Olive
Pool Party
Petal Pink
Calypso Coral
Daffodil Delight
I could also see this card made with out the note card and with a cello bag attached inside with some special treats or a gift inside. You could punch a hole at the top and tie with a ribbon. Would make a great table decoration for each of your Guests.

This is such a simple suite to use….if your not sure on how to colour the images. Then the Storybook Gnome DSP is already done for you and the dies that come in the Kindest Gnome Bundle will cut the Gnomes and Mushroom houses. It makes card making so quick and simple. But of course if you want to step it up…stamp the images onto Basic White cardstock and colour them in with you Blends.
For my card I kept it simple and die cut my DSP…see the video linked below.

Last week on ‘Live with Michele’ I created a stamped scrapbook page using Stampin’ Up! ® Brightest Beauty Bundle, Pretty medallion stamp and Crane of Fortune (Discontinued from Jan-Jun 2022 Mini)
This week I used my created sheet of DSP and completed a scrapbook page for my Wedding Album. This is a simple layout, with lots of layers in mats surrounding the photo’s. I wanted to keep it simple as there is a lot going on the stamped page.
A layer of vellum was added under the photo’s to give a little separation between the photo’s and printed cardstock. The back ground is busy and I wanted to tone it down slightly but still see the images coming through.
Both photo’s are the same size and I wanted to give the impression that one was larger than the other. To do this I did larger mats and decorated one so it stood out from the page more. The second photo i extended the bottom mat in depth to allow area for jornalling.

My cards in both the Blog Hop and the Tutorial focus on….
Brightest Beauty
Last Friday on my ‘Live with Michele’ I created a stamped 12 x 12″ Designer Series Paper(DSP) to be used in my Wedding Scrapbook Album. I also created a piece on A4 Basic White Cardstock and decided to use this piece to create this card.
The base of my card I used Sahara Sand Cardstock and made a mat using the Split Card Textures Dies. The mat piece I used the Blending Brushes and Soft Suede Stampin’ Pad to go around the edges and die cut areas to add a little colour.
The DSP I cut down slightly smaller than my mat and tore down one side at a angle giving me a rough edge. I again added Soft Suede ink to all my edges….I just wanted to give it a earthy sort of tone.
The sentiment is from the Go to Greetings Stamp Set. This is such a great set using four basic greetings like – Happy Birthday, Just a Note, Thank You and Thinking of you and 3 different fonts. This will be my go to set for sentiments. The sentiment was die cut out using the frame die from the Brightest Beauty Bundle.
I finished of the card by adding a generous triple bow, and the sentiment just sits below but with parts of the bow under caught under it. Some Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots
On the inside of my card I have added an insert using a piece of DSP where I hadn’t stamped all the way. So if you don’t like adding lots of writing it’s perfect.

Measurements are in both Imperial/ US Letter size and Metric/ A4.
There are a couple of different ways to get this tutorial…
Beautiful Shapes….I just love these hexagons, for the past week or two I have been working on an English Paper Piecing quilt using hexagons. Using up lots of little scrapes of fabric left over from face masks I was making over the last couple of years.
Whenever I do a watercolour card I usually have practice pieces or pieces I wasn’t happy with. Instead of throwing them away you could cut then up using dies…leaves, flowers or hexagons and use to create other interesting projects.
The sentiment is from the Happiness Abounds Stamp set and the dies I used to cut it out is from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I sat the sentiment on top of a vellum circle as it got lost a little with the background DSP- Perfectly Penciled and coloured Hexagons.
Below is my quilt…it’s now twice the size…great while watching TV.

The sentiment was from the Color and Contour Stamps was stamped in Versa Mark onto Basic Black Card Stock and heat embossed with white Embossing Powder.
