I had so much fun on my ‘Live’ this week. This card was created with Stampin’ Up! products coming and going, also die cuts left over from other projects – Vellum Leaves, Flowers and leaves cut from Designer Series Paper.
Shimmery White Cardstock and Butterfly Brilliance Bundle will soon be leaving us. I am going to miss them, but I am also looking forward to all the new products coming. I am really enjoying the Wild Wheat Cardstock and Ink from the New 2023-25 In-Colours, it has a lovely Green/gold tone which for me is a great substitute for Gold Foil.
I also used one of the Basic 3D Embossing Folders, this was the first I time I have used this folder and looks great with the other elements – floral dies and leaves.
Below is a video showing how the card was made.

Pear Pizzazz (I will be sad to see this go – but I can’t wait to play with all those new colours)
I created a textured back ground with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and added a die cut over the top.
I added a circle of vellum and placed it under the large flower to separate it from the other flowers.
The inside of the card I added a strip of embossed cardstock across the bottom of the card with a trim of Highland Heather cardstock and an watercolour leaf.
You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. For More Inspiration we have our new Tutorial Bundle
This month in my March In-home class we created cards using products from the Stampin’ Up!® Regency Park Suite Collection from the 2023 Mini Catalogue. There is so much in this suite….there is 2 bundles, Textured Shimmer paper, Cane Weave Embossing Folder, Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Milky Dots and 6 x 6″ Regency Park Designer Series Paper.
The good thing is some of these products will be staying in the new Stampin’ Up!® 2023-24 Catalogue but the sad thing is the bundles will be gone and the Regency Park Designer Series Paper will also be gone.
My advise….order them now if you want them or the 10% with the Bundles (at time of posting the availability of Suite or DSP unknown)
In my search for ideas I came across a YouTube Channel called Call Me (Crafty) Al. Both the card above and below came from her channel. She has a series called Sheet Load of Cards and these are where she shows and has a Printable PDF of card ideas where you want to make more than one of the same card…great for multiple cards and classes. You would just need to adjust some of the measurements for the Australian A4 Cardstock and our different card size.
Both of these cards really didn’t need much tweaking at all.
The other thing I would say is that if your looking for the link to her PDF’s, you do need to search the page. They were about half way down the Links or at the end.
Now, I did change this one a bit to suite the stamps.
Al has lots of great ideas and when the crafting juices are not flowing, it’s good to see what others are creating. Just always give credit to those you have CASE’d and their ideas, and play with them to make them your own.
CASE stands for “Copy and Share Everything” OR “Copy and Selectively Edit” (meaning putting your own spin on another’s design or idea)
The card below is mine, I could CASE everything, could I!
With this card I also added the stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes and the Bough Punch. The sentiment came from the Go to Greetings Stamp set

This was such a fun card to make, the back ground reminds me of the strings of beads that many houses in the 70’s here in Australia had hanging in the doorways.
I used one of the dies from the bundle to create this fun retro feel card.
Using VersaMark Stamp the large flower and 2 sets of leaves, one of each size.
Heat emboss with white embossing powder, use setting 1 or cool setting on Heat Gun. High or hot setting can curl the vellum.
Die cut the flower and leaves
Strips
Die cut a set of strips in each of the colours – Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo
Trim each set of strips into two lengths
Card Front
Adhere the strips to card front -Basic Black & trim excess length. You can add adhesive sheets to the back of the Strips before die cutting or use dots of multi-purpose glue to adhere down.
Adhere the card front to Coastal Cabana card mat.
Attach matted card front to the Basic Black card base.
Sentiment
Die cut square using 5cm stitched square from the Stylish Shapes.
Stamp sentiment at the bottom of square using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Adhere to card front in the center of the card front.
Flower & Leaves
Add a dimensional to the center of the flower behind the stamens & attach to the sentiment square.
Add leaves to either side of the flower using multi-purpose glue.
You can add extra mini dimensionals cut in half under the thicker embossed lines of the flower. I added these after flowers and leaves were attached.
Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots
Add the gold Brushed Metallic Dots on the dot on the card front (see picture below)
Card Insert
Adhere Basic White card insert into the card
** When using vellum try to hide your adhesive behind elements E.G. behind embossing (in this case).

This week I decided to use a suite I haven’t used much, Abigail Rose Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!®. I have used the Cottage Rose Bundle but I hadn’t even opened the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper until now…..and it is so pretty!
I have been wanting to create large gift tags for a while and as this suite we are now saying good buy to I thought I’d better use it. These tags are large enough to decorate a gift or gift bag. They have a little pocket where you can add ephemera or a little note.
I wanted to give the tags a bit of an aged or Shabby effect so I used my favorite Soft Suede Stampin’ Pad to do that. I am going to be so sad to say good bye to Soft Suede…I just might have to keep it just in case…LOL!
I also kept the colours subtle with Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam cardstock for accents, such as the die cuts.

Regency Park by Stampin’ Up!®
I decided to use products from the Regency Park Suite Collection for my card. The DSP I wanted to be very neutral so the stamping became the focal point.

Card Base –
Stamp the front of card base with the leaf cluster stamp from the Petal Park Stamp Set. This stamp has two sets of leaves that come in towards the center. I took care and only inked up half of the stamp (to the center) and stamped around the card base front using Granny Apple Green Ink Pad.
I used the dot-age stamp to fill in some of the holes around the leaves.
Using a Blending Brush and working in a circular motion lightly add Granny Apple Green Ink around the edges of the card base.
Piece 1
Stamp the out line flower cluster from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set in Balmy Blue all over the Basic White cardstock.
Using Blamy Blue ink and stamping off to get a lighter tone use the fill in Stamp for the flowers
Piece 2
Stamp sentiment in Night of navy Ink
Piece 3 & 4
Balmy Blue Strip and Mango Melody Strip run through Basic 3D Embossing Folders – I used the ‘Hash’ folder, this is a similar design to the DSP I used.
Putting the card together
Adhere the DSP to underneath side of the Piece 1, on the left
Glue these two pieces (P 1 & DSP) to the card base.
Using multi-purpose glue adhere Pieces 3 & 4 across the width of the card towards the bottom of the already attached pieces (see my card for position)
Add dimensionals to Piece 2 and adhere to your card over the strips (3 &4)
Tie a large bow with white bakers twine, add a glue dot and position the bow under the bottom left corner of the sentiment.

On this weeks ‘Live’ I created a card that steps a little out of my comfort zone. I wanted to try to push myself a little further but it just didn’t happen. My plain was to use a variety of stamps from different sets and I had a few lined up. But as I started working I ended up using just the one set – Two-Tone Flora along with one of the Elegant Boarder Dies cards I cut last week.
Even though I used the Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin’ Pad, I ended up using the Calypso Coral Cardstock…it still works OK. These things happen when you do a Live and afterwards you think…Why did I do that?
The Elegant Boarder Dies in one of the Online Exclusives found on my Online Store. These items will not be found in any catalogue. Also while you are there make sure you have a look at the punches..Stampin’ Up! ® have added back 2 circle punches…always a good idea to always check the Online Store for Clearance Rack or any new products.
As you will see watching the video below it was still a lot of fun and sometimes doing something different can be good.
