Was looking for inspiration for a card and I came across this challenge by Pals Paper Arts and decided to give it ago.
I don’t think I have done much with these colours, which are……..
My mother has a beautiful rose garden and she has a rose near her front door that is a similar colour.
So when I saw these colours they inspired me to use Rose Wonder from the Occasional Catalog.
The rose is such a large design that it fills the card, so there is no need for many elements.
I have embossed the rose with black embossing powder onto water colour paper and them water coloured the paper using the ink pads and Aqua pens.
The banner was also embossed but onto vellum as I like the colour of the design coming through.
Love that you got your inspiration from your mother’s rose garden! Beautiful card!
Thank You Karen
Such pretty watercoloring Michele! And the sentiment looks so nice embossed on the vellum. Thank you for joining us this week for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge!
