Mosaic Garden - Let's Scrap -

These photos sat on my bedside table for many years when I was younger. They are photos of my parents and sisters, along with two of my best friends — little snapshots of the people who were such an important part of my life.

For today’s About Me album page, I’ve taken inspiration from Patty Bennett and the way she used the Mosaic Garden Designer Series Paper in a card design.

Patty created a beautiful mosaic-style layout with the patterned paper, and it immediately caught my eye because my photos had originally been arranged in a very similar way. I loved the idea of recreating that look on a scrapbook page.

A Simple Layout for Special Photos

I’ve kept this layout very simple, letting the photos be the focus. Each photo is simply framed, with the arrangement creating that mosaic feel without adding lots of extra embellishments.

The Mosaic Garden Suite Collection also includes coordinating stamps and dies, and the sentiment I’ve used is from the stamp set.

The dies in the Mosaic Garden Suite are square and have a lovely decorative edge. Here I’ve used the Spotlight on Nature Dies, which have the same edge design and worked perfectly with the photos.

I really love how this page has come together. Sometimes the simplest layouts are the ones that allow the memories to shine the most.
