The challenge this month for the Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop is by Maheswari by Stampin’ Up!®.
The challenge Guide: CASE One of these designs using the Mini Catalogue products and Share it in your version!
CASE-ing a Festive Card with the Traditions of Christmas Suite
The card I chose to CASE today is the bottom right design with the three teacups. I loved the clean and simple layout, so I decided to recreate it using the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! ®.
This is a simple card design where the Designer Series Paper (DSP) really does most of the work, with just a few die-cut images to add interest. The only stamping is the sentiment, created with the Traditional Labels stamp set and coordinating dies.
This is a simple card, made using some Designer Series Paper and a few die cut images. The only stamping was the sentiment from the Traditional Labels with one of the coordinating dies.
Card Details
✨ Card Base & Background The Cherry Cobbler card base is completely covered with the Cherry Cobbler Dot DSP, running edge to edge. To break it up, I layered a strip of the Poinsettia DSP down the center.
✨ Focal Point For the poinsettia flower, you have two options: stamp and die cut, or simply cut the flower directly from the DSP. I chose the second option—it’s quick, easy, and still beautiful.
✨ Leaves & Holly The leaves were die cut from the two-tone cardstock in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. By flipping the cardstock and cutting from both sides, I was able to create variation in the tones of the holly leaves, giving extra depth and dimension.
✨ Sentiment The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder—a perfect match for the gold foiling that runs through the Poinsettia DSP. To finish, I die cut the sentiment with one of the coordinating Traditional Label Dies.

I love how this design turned out—simple yet festive, and perfect for quick Christmas cardmaking. CASE-ing card layouts is a wonderful way to get inspired, and with beautiful paper like the Traditions of Christmas DSP, it doesn’t take much to create something elegant.

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.
On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele’ I created this card using the Festive Friends Bundle by Stampin’ Up! ®.
If you’re looking for a fun and easy way to get creative this Christmas, theFestive Friends Bundle is a perfect place to start. The simple, cheerful images are wonderful for learning colour blending with the Stampin’ Blends—you only need a couple of colours to bring these cute designs to life.
But the magic really happens when you pair the stamps with the Festive Friends Dies. Not only can you cut out your stamped images, but you can also build playful backgrounds using the star and tree dies. There’s even a versatile tag die, making it quick and easy to create personalised gift tags for all your holiday presents.
Whether you’re making cards, tags, or festive décor, Festive Friends gives you endless creative possibilities this season. 🎄✨

I absolutely love the black, white, and gold papers in this collection. One side of the Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper features modern black and white designs, while the other side includes stunning gold foiling. Add a dramatic pop of bold colour to the black and white, and it truly makes your project shine! ✨
This particular card design was inspired by one I saw on Instagram, originally created by Sonja Mehl. I’ve adapted her measurements slightly to suit our standard card sizes.

The challenge this month for the Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop is by Nancy and I am using the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up!®.
The challenge Guide: Use products from your stash (maybe ones that are feeling a bit neglected) and create something new and on trend by combining it with a select few new items. The aim of this challenge is to show you can create exciting cards with old products
Nests of Winter
The Nest of Winter Designer Series Paperfirst appeared in last year’s Mini Catalogue, and I was so happy to see it carried over into the current Annual Catalogue. Since this challenge is all about using products that may be retired or sometimes forgotten, I thought it was the perfect excuse to pull it out of my stash and create a card with it.
The challenge was to combine something from your stash that maybe a little forgotten with something NEW! ✨ For my card, I paired the Nest of Winter DSP with the pine tree branches from the Christmas Greenery Bundle and a label from the Traditional Labels Bundle—both are part of the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection. To finish it off, I added a sentiment from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera, which tied everything together beautifully.
These new products will be available in the September–December Mini Catalogue, open for orders from 3rd September.
Other Products and Tips
Sentiment has an adhesive backing- remove the sticky by pouncing the Embossing Buddy on the sticky side. Then add mini dimensionals to adhere to your card front and give lift over the branches.
Bird was fussy cut from the DSP and added with dimensionals.
To give some some bling to the finished card I added the clear & gold gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.
On ‘Live with Michele’ I created another card using the Jolly Holly Bundle by Stampin’ Up! ®.
Having another play with the Jolly Holly Bundle! For this card, I used the coordinating die from the bundle that partially cuts the holly, allowing the petals to be lifted and layered over the frame for added dimension. The holly is coloured with Stampin’ Up!® Watercolor Pencils and blended using the Colour Lifter from the Blends range. The frame is from the Beautiful Motifs die set and perfectly highlights the holly detail.

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.
🎥 On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele’, I created this festive card using the Holly Jolly Bundle by Stampin’ Up!®. It’s full of classic Christmas charm—with just the right touch of sparkle to make it shine!
To add a bit of festive shimmer, I used Metallic Enamel Effects, lightly applied to the embossed holly using a dauber. This gave the card subtle texture and a gorgeous glimmer that catches the light beautifully.
I also used the coordinating dies to cut out the stamped images and added some dimension to bring everything to life.
📺 Missed the live? No worries—you can catch the replay and see the step-by-step process! 🛍️ Love this bundle? You can shop the Holly Jolly Bundle now in the Online Exclusives section.

We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own. Each month we will be showing different ideas based around products, themes and challenges.
I had a lot of fun creating this card, using some techniques I hadn’t used before. I have had the Pearlized Enamel Effects and the Matallic Enamel Effects in my stash for a little while but had never pulled the out to use until now.
My “TIPS’
When using the Enamel effects and mixing with water etc, mix them on an old piece of plastic you can throw away. i used a block and could only clean with a piece of steel wool.
When do the splatters have some scrap paper underneath your work. I now have splatters on my glass mat and not sure I want to put steel wool onto it…..May just live with it like it is.
Card Front– Adhere the matted card front to the card base.
Wreath – Attach the 2 coloured and die cut wreath pieces to the card front, leaving approx .5cm (¼”) in between the pieces.
Christmas sentiment – Remove the backings from the dimentionals and attach the Christmas across the middle of the two wreaths.
Merry Sentiment– add a mini dimensional in the middle of the banner, add a small amount of liquid glue under the ends of the banner and attach above the Christmas sentiment.
Leaves – Adhere 3 leaves at the top and 3 leaves to the bottom of the wreath, sitting diagonally from each other & tucking them under the wreath.
Sentiment sentiment in the middle using the Pretty Peacock Ink
Adhere the card insert to the Moody Mauve card insert mat.
Adhere the matted insert to the inside of the card base.
