Iโm really enjoying this paper packโitโs so versatile and makes creating festive projects quick and easy. For this card, I wanted something simple but striking, so I used the Party Alphabet Dies to spell out the word JOY as my main focal point. The clean letters paired with the patterned paper give the card a fresh, modern look while still keeping that classic Christmas feel.
Easel Cards are always a favourite of mine because they stand so nicely on display, and this one came together so effortlessly with these products.

This card design was inspired by a beautiful creation I saw on Instagram by Avee Renee. Her card featured a striking black background with white daisies โ it was simply stunning! I loved the idea and decided to recreate it using products I already had in my craft stash.
The frame of my card was made using the Gallery Blooms Dies, and I adjusted the overall card size to suit the dimensions of the frame. For the top layer, I used the rich Green Velvet from the All Seasons Velvet Specialty Paper to give it a luxurious texture and finish.
Inside the window frame is a strip of Window Sheet, which acts as a base to attach your decorative elements. This gives the effect that your pieces are floating within the frame โ a really fun technique that adds extra interest and depth to your design.

Welcome to the Letโs Craft Together Blog Hop! We are a group of Australian Stampinโ Up!ยฎ Demonstrators who love sharing our creative ideas with you. Weโre so happy youโre joining us and hope to inspire you to create projects of your own. Each month, we feature different ideas based on products, themes, or creative challenges โ so thereโs always something new to enjoy!
๐ Challenge Theme:Christmas with a Twist! Our challenge this month, created by Tracy Held, is to make a Christmas card using a non-Christmas product. Itโs a fun way to stretch your creativity and see your supplies in a whole new light!
Beautiful Gallery
I ended up creating two cards for this hop as I couldn’t decide which one I liked better. So I decided to show both and let you work out which one you liked. Both cards use the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! ยฎ
Card 1
For this card, I chose to take the Designer Series Paper right to the edge of the Basic Black card base for a bold, full-coverage look. The paper features dark images on a deep background, so to bring in more colour and contrast, I stamped over the trees using the โsquiggleโ stamp from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set in Old Olive.
This card is a much simpler design. I used a piece of Designer Series Paper that looks like a charcoal drawing of a street lined with trees and houses โ it has such a lovely sketch-like quality.
To create the card, I simply stamped โMerry Christmasโ from the Jolly Holly Stamps in Real Red directly onto the paper. The panel was then trimmed down and matted with Real Red cardstock for a crisp border. To finish, I wrapped a length of Real Red Shiny Ribbon around the card front and tied another small piece into a simple knot for added texture and detail.
Two very different cards made using paper from the same Designer Series Paper pack โ each with its own charm! Which one is your favourite? I love both, but Iโm especially drawn to the simplicity and elegance of Card 2.

CASE-ing a Festive Card with the Traditions of Christmas Suite
The card I chose to CASE today is the bottom right design with the three teacups. I loved the clean and simple layout, so I decided to recreate it using the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection by Stampinโ Up! ยฎ.
This is a simple card design where the Designer Series Paper (DSP) really does most of the work, with just a few die-cut images to add interest. The only stamping is the sentiment, created with the Traditional Labels stamp set and coordinating dies.
This is a simple card, made using some Designer Series Paper and a few die cut images. The only stamping was the sentiment from the Traditional Labels with one of the coordinating dies.
Card Details
โจ Card Base & Background The Cherry Cobbler card base is completely covered with the Cherry Cobbler Dot DSP, running edge to edge. To break it up, I layered a strip of the Poinsettia DSP down the center.
โจ Focal Point For the poinsettia flower, you have two options: stamp and die cut, or simply cut the flower directly from the DSP. I chose the second optionโitโs quick, easy, and still beautiful.
โจ Leaves & Holly The leaves were die cut from the two-tone cardstock in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. By flipping the cardstock and cutting from both sides, I was able to create variation in the tones of the holly leaves, giving extra depth and dimension.
โจ Sentiment The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powderโa perfect match for the gold foiling that runs through the Poinsettia DSP. To finish, I die cut the sentiment with one of the coordinating Traditional Label Dies.

I absolutely love the black, white, and gold papers in this collection. One side of the Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper features modern black and white designs, while the other side includes stunning gold foiling. Add a dramatic pop of bold colour to the black and white, and it truly makes your project shine! โจ
This particular card design was inspired by one I saw on Instagram, originally created by Sonja Mehl. Iโve adapted her measurements slightly to suit our standard card sizes.

The challenge this month for the Letโs Craft Together Blog Hop is by Nancy and I am using the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper by Stampinโ Up!ยฎ.
The challenge Guide: Use products from your stash (maybe ones that are feeling a bit neglected) and create something new and on trend by combining it with a select few new items. The aim of this challenge is to show you can create exciting cards with old products
Nests of Winter
The Nest of Winter Designer Series Paperfirst appeared in last yearโs Mini Catalogue, and I was so happy to see it carried over into the current Annual Catalogue. Since this challenge is all about using products that may be retired or sometimes forgotten, I thought it was the perfect excuse to pull it out of my stash and create a card with it.
The challenge was to combine something from your stash that maybe a little forgotten with something NEW! โจ For my card, I paired the Nest of Winter DSP with the pine tree branches from the Christmas Greenery Bundle and a label from the Traditional Labels Bundleโboth are part of the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection. To finish it off, I added a sentiment from the Greetings For You Mix & Match Ephemera, which tied everything together beautifully.
These new products will be available in the SeptemberโDecember Mini Catalogue, open for orders from 3rd September.
Other Products and Tips
Sentiment has an adhesive backing- remove the sticky by pouncing the Embossing Buddy on the sticky side. Then add mini dimensionals to adhere to your card front and give lift over the branches.
Bird was fussy cut from the DSP and added with dimensionals.
To give some some bling to the finished card I added the clear & gold gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems

On โLive with Micheleโ I created another card using the Jolly Holly Bundle by Stampinโ Up! ยฎ.
Having another play with the Jolly Holly Bundle! For this card, I used the coordinating die from the bundle that partially cuts the holly, allowing the petals to be lifted and layered over the frame for added dimension. The holly is coloured with Stampin’ Up!ยฎ Watercolor Pencils and blended using the Colour Lifter from the Blends range. The frame is from the Beautiful Motifs die set and perfectly highlights the holly detail.
