This is one of my favorite card folds and it has been a long time since I have used it. It’s a tri-fold card and the 3rd section is small and added onto the main book fold card base.

This is a really great fun fold to use at Christmas, as the Tee Pee or Pyramid Card has the look of a Christmas Tree.
The A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper will be available to order in September when the 2024 Mini Sept – Jan Mini Catalogue is released. This paper pack is made of of 3 double sided Designer Series Papers and 3 sheets of Die Cuts.
Check you DSP is going to look OK at an angel or what ever direction its in.
When making this card you need to make sure the embellishment don’t hang over too much at the sides so as it can fit into the envelope when folded in half.
Decorating – make sure you have the card front (one of 2 sides), triangle with the two points forming the baseline.
Measure up 2cm from where DSP meets in each direction. Cut a line across between the 2cm points.
Tuck point from other side into slit to hold card together. See image below

Back in October 2023 I joined a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators to take part in a ‘Card swap with a Twist – Chain card Swap.
How does this work?
The swap is similar to an old fashioned chain letter or I would say…”Chinese Whispers with Cards’
We were given a list of names – 11 in total (not including myself)
Create a simple card
Send to first person on the list
Wait to receive a card from someone…
‘CASE’ that card and send it to the 2nd person on your list
Repeat until all people on the list has received a card
Now this is the fun part….When you CASE the card you received, it’s your interpretation of the received card. Just like ‘Chinese Whispers’ you may not end up with what you originally designed
Round 11 Stippled Roses
This fun fold card is a Twisted Fun Fold…which I had never done this fold until now.
For this card I used the Stippled Roses Bundle and the Stippled Roses Designer Series Paper which was available in the last Sale-A-Bration. The Stippled Roses Stamps Bundle is in the current Jan- April Mini Catalogue and will still be available in the up coming catalogue but not as a bundle. So get it now to get the 10% discount on bundles
Stippled Roses is a very traditional rose design and the leaf dies are stunning with the embossed details within the die. Other dies in this bundle are fine and delicate which I love using with other stamp and die sets.
The other sentiments in the stamps are a stunning ‘Script Fonts’ with a beautiful old world charm, they can be used for Mothers Day, Congratulations and Thank you.
Were to Start…Start this hop at Tracy so you get the progression
Follow the Hop around and see how these creations changed from start to finish…you might be surprised to see how these cards finished up!

Our theme this month for the Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop is a ‘Designer Series Paper Challenge’ by Kayla Renee and I am using the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up!®. I love this DSP , it has this lovely mix of bright/modern and a traditional softness. At the moment it seems to be my go to paper.
Unfortunately it’s not a paper you can purchase, but you can earn it for FREE when you spend $90 or more. The Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper is one of the many products in the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue

Instagram Story by Srusht Patil showing Tutorial of Pop Card .
I saw this card on Instagram a couple of weeks ago and decided to give it a try. The card made by Srusht is a large card format so I have reduced the measurements to fit with a standard card. I have made a few changes in using less DSP to suite what I was wanting to create.

On Friday’s ‘Live with Michele’ I created this Z-Fold Card and used the Simply Sparkling Bundle by Stampin’ Up!®.
The Simply Sparkling Bundle is a fun and bubbly bundle, you can let your imagination go with this one, creating cards for all ages . You can stamp the soda can & die cut as is or create the can with the can top, bottom and pull tab in die cuts. The same goes with the fruit…stamp and colour, stamp on coloured cardstock or die cut the fruit using the smaller die pieces. I love the bubbles…again stamp or die cut.
My suggestion is to have the Adhesive Sheets on hand as some of these pieces are small.
The Z-Fold card is a simple and versatile Fun Fold. It can be used in a portrait card, as I have done here or in landscape cards (with the fold on the side). The Z-Fold is the base to many other card styles, for example an Easel Card, Double Z-Fold.
A Z-Fold is created when you fold the card in half and then fold the front of the card back on it’s self. With my card I have added a panel to the front of the card extending across the inside of the card.

This card is a Fun Fold – Spanner Panel Card (why it’s called that …I don’t know). I liked this fun fold for this card because it highlights the Designer Series Paper beautifully. You get the hint of the scene on the front and then open it up to see more of the stunning meadows. Open the center flap to find the greeting….It’s a card that just keeps getting better.
I have added the YouTube Live Video below.

Tips & Tricks
Side panels are 3.5cm wide (1 ⅜”), in the video the first base I cut it was too narrow, you will see me discard that one and re cut.
I used Window Sheet across the base so it allows the view of the meadow to be seen through the gate. Rather than blocking it off with solid cardstock.
The DSP on card front you could make the same width as center panel…either way would look great.
Colouring with the Stampin’ Up! ® Blends is very simple and you don’t need to use the same number of colours.

Last night on ‘Live with Michele’ I created this Fun Fold – Faux Step Card, using the ‘O Holy Night Suite’. This suite you will find in the Sept – Dec Mini Catalogue by Stampin’ Up!®.
I saw this card created by Mary Deatherage, Mary used the Trucking Along Bundle to create her fun card. Which you can see HERE. Mary has great diagrams on the scoring lines, other wise you will see on my attached video, below.
O Holy Night is a BIG suite of products, for this card I have only used half of it. For me it really depicts what Christmas is all about with the Nativity scene depicting the birth of Jesus.
The Designer Series Paper, O Holy Night, has 3 sheets of scenes depicting desert, towns and night sky. They are 12 x 12″ (30 x 30cm), great for both cards and scapbooking. The only thing is you need to plan out what sections you want to use on your card and cut wisely. With my card below I used half a sheet, which left me with a few off cuts I will try to use on other projects.

How to…
Cut all cardstock and score
Designer Series Paper – All pieces are cut from a half sheet of DSP 15 x 30cm (6 x 12″), you need to plan out were you will be cutting first. Cut each piece in order as below, see video.
Cut the Card Base Strip DSP first – this is so you can cut in one strip.
Card Front Panel – Decide how much ground to sky you want to use. Cut your depth 10.2cm (4⅛”) and then work out the width for star placement on your card front.
Remaining DSP- cut Card Base and writing panel strip
Stamp sentiment onto Very Vanilla using Night of Navy Ink Pad and die cut using stitched square from Stylish Shapes
Adhere the Card Base DSP strip to the small mountain fold and Card Base DSP to larger mountain fold
Adhere the Card Front DSP to Card Front.
Add glue to the back of the card front…ONLY on the bottom 2cm ( 1″), height of the small mountain.
Fold card and adhere the back section of the Card Front to the back of the Card Base, again only approx 1cm (½”)
Add sentiment to card base.
Attach Nativity Scene with mini dimensionals
Writing panel
Attach DSP strip along the bottom
Adhere the camel, being careful on the amount of glue used.
Attach to the back of the Card Base.
Add Wink of Stella to star.
