For this month’s Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop, Nancy has set a wonderful ‘Picture Inspiration Challenge’ as the theme. Drawing inspiration from the colors in the provided picture, I created this card card using the stunning Artistic Dies and Artistically Inked Stamps by Stampin’ Up! ®.

This card is simple to create by using the Artistic Dies as the focal point and then colouring the different flowers & leaves in what ever colours you want.

When blending the colours from flower to flower or flower to leaf, don’t worry about when one starts or finishes. Just let the colours blend together.

The ‘Happy Birthday’ Sentiment is from the Artistically Inked Stamps.

Card Base
- Fold in half
- Ink around edges with Bubble Bath Ink and Blending Brush.
Card Mat
- Using Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, emboss the Vellum.
- TIP– Add a piece of cardstock under the vellum when running through with a 3D Embossing Folder. Vellum has no give in it and the added cardstock helps it to not cracking or rip.
Card Front
- Tear top and bottom edges
- Run card front through Large Cut and Emboss Machine using Basic 3D Embossing Folder
- Ink around edges with Bubble Bath Ink and Blending Brush.
Floral Die Cut
- Adhere the adhesive sheet to the back of Basic White Cardstock, run through with die using the large Cut and Emboss Machine.
- Colour flowers in using small Blending Brushes and Ink
- Peel off adhesive backing and attach to the card front.
Adhere the vellum to the card base.
Add dimensionals to the back of the card front and attach to the card.
Stamp the Sentiment, add dimensionals and attach to card front.
Adhere the insert inside and your card is complete

A Bush Christmas

Our theme this month for the Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop by Ann Alexander is a ‘Theme Challenge – A Bush Christmas’ .

I love this challenge, for the last month it has been bouncing around in my head, working out what I could do. I love Australian Native Flowers and Stampin’ Up! ® Everlasting Beauty Stamp Set was perfect for this challenge using the stunning Waratah to make my focal point.

I also used the Magical Meadow Dies for the other elements with the Waratah. Even though they are not technically Australian fauna I tried to colour them to represent the Australian Bush. The Holly was added, because what is Christmas without a bit of Holly.

    - die cut x 5 and coloured after cut.

Card Front –
- After cutting DSP using a Blending Brush, brush on Mossy Meadow Ink and then go over with Real Red Ink. Real Red Ink was not taken as far onto the DSP as the Mossy Meadow Ink.
- Add splatters of Wink of Stella and watered down White Craft Ink
Fauna – Layer the fauna
- You may want to die & colour extra…I cut some of my leaves up to fill spaces
Sentiment – Stamped using Cherry Cobbler Ink
Classic Matte Dots – Coloured with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.

Meandering Meadows – Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop

Cut all cardstock as listed above
Stamping & Die cutting
- From the Basic White cardstock Die Cut the Gate
- Stamp the Boots and flower image using Basic Gray Stampin’ Pad
- Vellum – Die cut 6.5cm (2½”) circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies
- Using White Embossing Powder and VersaMark Ink stamp the sentimment to the vellum circle and heat set with heat gun.
Colouring
- Boots – coloured using Smoky Slate, Highland Heather & Wild Wheat
- Flowers – Highland Heather, Balmy Blue
- Leaves/Grass -Pool Party, Last Lagoon, Granny Apple Green
- Die Cut boots and flowers

Fresh Freesia Square, Emboss with the ‘Hash’ embossing folder from the Basic 3 D Embossing Folder (a collection of 3 folders found in the Online Exclusives)
Vellum Circle
- Attach gate to the vellum circle below the sentiment, using small amounts of multi purpose glue doted onto half the gate.
Card Front
- Attach card mat to card base
- Adhere Fresh Freesia square and DSP to the card mat using Multi purpose glue.
- Attach the velum to the card front hiding the adhesive behind the gate and sentiment. Also add glue to the other half of gate hanging off the vellum.
- Add dimensionals to the back of flowers and attach to card front
- Add dimensionals and glue to boots and attach to card front.
- Add Bird and Dragonfly elements to card front.
Card Insert
- Attach DSP strip to right hand side of Basic White card insert
- Adhere the insert inside the card.

Hey Chuck – Let’s Craft Together Blog hop

Our theme this month is a ‘Picture Inspiration’, – create a project using the below picture as your inspiration. It may be the colours, images or sketches. This challenge was given to us by Maheswari, I had a lot of fun creating this card, not only with the challenge but with ‘Hey Chuck’ Bundle.

I have chosen 3 elements from the ‘Picture Inspiration’

Hey Chuck

This is my second card using the ‘Hey Chuck’ Bundle and I seem to be creating a theme with these cards. They are bright and lots of fun, in both creating them as well as enjoying the finished card.

3 Rectangle elements – My use of the above elements is very broad as my chooks would not stay in the confines of the rectangles.

Torn Edges – The Lemon Lime Twist card stock is from the White Center Specialty Paper and when torn the white core shows.

Elements from behind the last rectangle – The die cut sun, wind vane and ‘Rise & Shine’ sign and the elements from behind the last rectangle.

How to Make….

Cut all cardstock and score.
Card Mat – Tear approx 1cm off top and bottom of Lemon Lime Twist White Center Specialty Paper and adhere to the card base. Keep torn off pieces, one to be used on the card insert.
- Tip- If you want the white core to be on the front of the Card Base, have right side up and tear towards yourself.
Die cut 3 rectangles with the Deckled Rectangles using the 2nd smallest die.
Die cut Sun and Wind Vanes
Stamp Chock and Fence images in Memento Tuxedo Black. You can see how I coloured fences and chocks from my YouTube Video -Live with Michele
Fences and Chooks coloured with Stampin’ Blends
- Fences using Blends – Crumb Cake Combo & Bronze
- Chooks
  1. Bodies- Daffodil Delight Combo, Wild Wheat
  2. Tails – Poppy Parade, Tranquil Tide
  3. Tails – Tranquil Tide, Granny Apple Green, Starry Sky
  4. Tails – Fresh Freesia Combo, Orchid Oasis Light, Blackberry Bliss Combo
Sentiment ‘Rise & Shine’
- Stamp in Early Espresso Ink
- Use Deckled Rectangles to cut sentiment – there is no die the right size for this, I used a larger die to cut 2 sides & then moved die to cut other 2 sides.
- With blending brush and Crumb Cake Ink colour the sentiment.
Adhere the 3 rectangles to card front, leave room to slip sun behind last rectangle.
Using Multi Purpose Glue adhere the fences onto the rectangles.
Add dimensionals to the back of the chooks and add to card front.
Tuck sun behind the last rectangle.
Glue wind vane and sentiment to card front.
Card Insert
- Glue one of the torn Lemon Lime Twist White Center Specialty Paper pieces to the bottom edge of the card insert.
- Add fence and Wind Vane
- Stamp ‘It’s your Birthday’ sentiment with Early Espresso Ink.

Paper Florist Dies & Countryside Inn – Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop

Paper Florist Dies & Countryside Inn

For my card I am using – Easel Card, Flowers and Blue…….and ‘Yes’ you could say that my card falls into a few other categories as well such as Easel Card, Designer Series Paper and Birthday… O’ well, just making sure I was covered……LOL!

I have chosen two of the new blues or one returning colour and one new – Misty Moonlight and Boho Blue with a little bit of Basic White and Wild Wheat.

Tips and Tricks

Card Base – Front was scored diagonally to form Easel Card
Card Front, Countryside Corners Bundle – Stitching Line inked with Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Write Marker and die cut with coordinating die.
Card Insert – Smaller Countryside Corner die cut in Basic White for a writing panel on inside of the card
Countryside label die has 3 dimensionals to give it lift for stopper.
Large Flowers – 2 layers large petals + 1 smaller Petals
Small Flowers Daisy – Each flower has 3 layers

Anything Animals – Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop

For this challenge I have decided to use the Zoo Crew Suite with a Fun Fold Card – Pillar Pop-Up Card. I made this card originally in 2022 – Stella Birthday

How to make this card…

I made a couple of changes, which are

No Designer Series Paper on the Frame, sponged around using blending brushes.
DSP added to stand on the back
When making this using Imperial Measurements your window size will be smaller. The Dancer and Band will be closer together
I sponged edges of layers using Lemon Lolly and Lost Lagoon Ink (re Pic’s)
I sponged Stage lighting using Lemon Lolly Ink and two pieces of post-it note to create a ‘V’
Band – Beaver and Water Hog and adhered to the DSP, Frog is attached with 2 mini dimensionals

Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop

It was my turn to choose the challenge……Black and White – this is hard one, they are such a contrast…total opposites. Because being complete opposites you can get a very hard looking card and you need to have some softness and texture…I hope I have done this with my card.

Timeless Arrangements Bundle

This is the first time I have played with this bundle and I think I am in ‘LOVE’….Timeless Arrangements Bundle

And every time I think of the sentiment I used – ‘Thank you for being my Friend’…I start singing…, Who else loved the Golden Girls…LOL!

The card layers are very simple, there are just 3 – Card Base- Basic Black, Card Front- Basic White and Card Insert – Basic White.

This card was a case of playing….with scraps of Basic White, Basic Black and White Vellum…I stamped the all the images in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White (3-4 in each) and die cut. Using vellum, I die cut 3-4 each of the stand alone dies. I also cut one of the large dies( with the bar at the base) x 3 in Basic Black. Not all this was used but it gave me plenty to play with.

How to make this card…

I embossed the card front with one of the embossing folders from the Basics Embossing Folders found in the Online Exclusives on my Online Store.
Using the Basic Black Marker splattered some ink across the card Front by flicking the brush nib from the marker lid
Black Bakers Twine – separate the twisted twine. place a small amount of Seal onto card front and layer one strand of the twine in large loops onto the seal
Adhering the the 2 black die cuts to the back of the sentiment, one at the top and the other at the bottom. The sentiment is then attached to the front of the card front with dimensionals.
This forms a base. I then attached the stamped flowers and leaves and vellum pieces coming from under the sentiment.
To finish the card front I added some splatters of Wink of Stella.
The card front then was adhered to the card base.

The card Insert was decorated with some of the left over die cuts and finished with a die cut banner over the top. ( I cut it down, so it wasn’t so long)

Join myself, and the rest of the Let’s Craft Together Team for a day of crafting at Bright and Beautiful Stamp Camp

We are so excited to be able share this Online Event with you and hope you are excited too!

We loved the ‘Rain or Shine’ Suite Collection as soon as we saw it and just thought ‘How cute!’ and our heads have been brimming with lots of ideas we just have to share with you. So please join us.

We have thought long and hard about how we were going to share this with everyone….weather your a customer, overseas or another Demonstrator, we want you all to join us

Information about the Stamp Camp

We will be creating 8 cards, 2 from each of us over the day via a Facebook Group (Closed) that only you will have access to. We will have challenges for you to try also through out the day.

What to expect from the camp.

PDF Tutorial showcasing 8 projects made with the Bright and Beautiful Suite Collection
Exclusive Facebook Page with a life time access. There will be 8 ‘LIVE” presentations through out the day for you to craft along with us or at your leisure.
Open to anyone one, here in Australia or Overseas. Also if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator you can sign up as well. See all the payment options below.
You will receive all measurements 2 weeks before the Stamp Camp so you can be prepared to craft along with us
Card Kits (Australia Only) are available for you to purchase, these will be cut to size and die cut ready to go. See Below

Bright & Beautiful – May Fun Fold Challenge

Bright & Beautiful Double Z- Fold Card

I created my card using the Bright & Beautiful Suite from the NEW Annual 2023-24 Stampin’ Up!® Catalogue. If you love Birthdays, Balloons and stars this is a fun suite. Great for birthday cards, general celebrations or any special moments. The dies cut balloons, stars, tags and work well for shaker cards. The Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP) is 6 x 6″, one side of the DSP has fun type images of stars, strips, waves, strips and confetti. The reverse side has ombre effects, variegate or shabby (as per my card), giving great texture effects for your cards.

The DSP coordinates with Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lime Twist, Pretty Peacock, Azure Afternoon and Blueberry Bushel. For my card I used the Azure Afternoon DSP and die cut stars in Berry Burst, Basic White, Azure Afternoon and Parakeet Party.

To add some extra texture to the stars I embossed them using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folder found on the Online Exclusives in my Online Store.

The Bright & Beautiful Suite also includes Gold celebration Specialty Designer Series Paper – window sheets in 3 designs – spots, stars and confetti, streamer twirls. One side of the sheets are gold and the other side is in silver. I used the gold spots for the 2nd part of the Double Z-Fold, to create a see through element to my card. I was then able to attach the stars and tag to the window sheet so the stars and tag look like they are floating.

NB: make sure you use your bone folder to crease in the folds and to adhere to the card base I used lots of glue dots that hind nicely behind the dots.

On the back of the card I have added a panel to write your Birthday Greetings on.

Regency Park # 004 Mystery Challenge – Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop

This month Tracy has challenged us with a ‘Mystery Challenge’. It’s good every now and then to be taken out of your comfort zone to make something different from your style.

Regency Park by Stampin’ Up!®

I decided to use products from the Regency Park Suite Collection for my card. The DSP I wanted to be very neutral so the stamping became the focal point.

How to make this card…

Cutting Measurements

Piece 4	Mango Melody	4¼ x ¼”	10.5 x 0.5cm
DSP		4¼ x 1¼”	10.5 x 3cm

Card Base –
- Stamp the front of card base with the leaf cluster stamp from the Petal Park Stamp Set. This stamp has two sets of leaves that come in towards the center. I took care and only inked up half of the stamp (to the center) and stamped around the card base front using Granny Apple Green Ink Pad.
- I used the dot-age stamp to fill in some of the holes around the leaves.
- Using a Blending Brush and working in a circular motion lightly add Granny Apple Green Ink around the edges of the card base.
Piece 1
- Stamp the out line flower cluster from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set in Balmy Blue all over the Basic White cardstock.
- Using Blamy Blue ink and stamping off to get a lighter tone use the fill in Stamp for the flowers
Piece 2
- Stamp sentiment in Night of navy Ink
Piece 3 & 4
- Balmy Blue Strip and Mango Melody Strip run through Basic 3D Embossing Folders – I used the ‘Hash’ folder, this is a similar design to the DSP I used.
Putting the card together
- Adhere the DSP to underneath side of the Piece 1, on the left
- Glue these two pieces (P 1 & DSP) to the card base.
- Using multi-purpose glue adhere Pieces 3 & 4 across the width of the card towards the bottom of the already attached pieces (see my card for position)
- Add dimensionals to Piece 2 and adhere to your card over the strips (3 &4)
- Tie a large bow with white bakers twine, add a glue dot and position the bow under the bottom left corner of the sentiment.
