True Blue Florals Scrapbook Layout -Product of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog! Today Iโ€™m excited to be taking part in the Product of the Month Blog Hop.

Iโ€™m joining some truly talented Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ Demonstrators from around the world. Weโ€™re so happy you could join us and hope youโ€™ll find plenty of inspiration to create something of your own.

If you love discovering exclusive Stampinโ€™ Up! products, then Product of the Month is for you. Each month features a brand-new, limited-release item that isnโ€™t found in any catalogue or Online Exclusives. They really are something special and a lot of fun to create with.

Each product is available once per account and while stocks last, so itโ€™s very much a โ€œget it while you canโ€ release.

Decemberโ€™s Product of the Month is True Blue Florals.

I hope you enjoy seeing how Iโ€™ve used this monthโ€™s product and that it inspires you to try something new in your own crafting.

True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper

โ€œFamily scrapbook page using True Blue Florals Designer Series Paperโ€

These photos have been sitting on my desk for about 12 months, waiting for the right products to come along. These pages are all about familyโ€”my Grandfather with his sister and his son (my Dad). The other page, taken at the same time, is about four generations, always connected by love.

The True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper was the perfect choice. It picks up the blues in Aunt Enidโ€™s skirt and scarf, as well as in my topโ€ฆ and, of course, blue is my favourite colour. The designs feel very traditional, but with a slight modern twist thanks to the fine-line floral details.

I chose to fussy cut the flowersโ€”good thing I donโ€™t mind fussy cutting!

What I used…

I pulled in a mix of products from my stashโ€”some that are already available and others that are coming in the New Year.

The title and the sprig die (cut here in Night of Navy) are a little sneak peek from the Beautifully Celebrated Bundle, which will be available in the Januaryโ€“April Mini Catalogue.

The flower and leaf dies used to fill in behind and around the main flowers were cut in Willow White and Balmy Blue. These are from the Charming Day Bundle, currently found in the Last Chance Products.

To finish off the layout, I added Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots, placing them in clusters of three around the flowers for a soft touch of sparkle.

This layout was created using Stampinโ€™ Up!โ€™s True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper, Decemberโ€™s Product of the Month, combined with favourites from my stash and a sneak peek from the upcoming Januaryโ€“April Mini Catalogue. Itโ€™s the perfect example of how exclusive, limited-release products can bring meaningful family memories to life.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! I hope youโ€™ve enjoyed my projects and that theyโ€™ve inspired you to get crafty.

True Blue Florals

Hi there, and welcome! Whether youโ€™re here for inspiration, creative ideas, or simply a relaxing crafty escape, Iโ€™m so happy youโ€™ve stopped by.

On this weekโ€™s Live with Michele, I created this beautiful card using the Product of the Month โ€“ True Blue Florals by Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ. If you love exclusive products, youโ€™re going to love Product of the Monthโ€”a special promotion featuring a brand-new, limited-release item every month. These products are some of the best Stampinโ€™ Up! has to offer and arenโ€™t available in any catalogue or in the Online Exclusives.

Each month, a new product is released and is available only once per account. Quantities are limited, so when theyโ€™re gone, theyโ€™re gone for good!

โœจ Decemberโ€™s Product of the Month: True Blue Florals

This is a very simple layout, not too complicated, as the focus is on showcasing the fussy-cut florals. While fussy cutting does take a little extra time and patience, it is well worth the effort for the beautiful finished result.

The contrast of Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, and white, combined with the mix of textures from cardstock and vellum, gives this card a soft, elegant feel while allowing the florals to truly shine.

Hobby Haven Suite Collection โ€“ Live with Michele

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escapeโ€”I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On yesterdayโ€™s Live with Michele I shared a new card project featuring the Hobby Haven Suite Collection by Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ. This gorgeous suite is part of the Online Exclusives, so youโ€™ll find it only in my Stampinโ€™ Up! Online Store.

A Closer Look at the Designer Series Paper

The Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper is the hero of this suite. Its beautifully illustrated designs celebrate five relaxing past-timesโ€”sewing, reading, gardening, and day spas. Each pattern offers a cosy, calming feel perfect for thoughtful, handmade cards.

The reverse sides of the papers feature soft, coordinating backgrounds, making them incredibly versatile. Youโ€™ll also find two sheets of die-cut images that can be used on their own or paired with the DSP for quick, creative accents.

Stamps, Dies & Embellishments

The suite includes the Creative Haven Stamp Set and Creative Haven Dies. This bundle features bold sentiments ideal for tags, labels, or stamping directly onto your card fronts. The dies also coordinate beautifully with elements in the DSP.

To complete the collection, youโ€™ll find two finishing touches:

  • Garden Green Chevron Ribbon
  • Earthy Matte Dots

These pair perfectly with the soft, relaxing palette of the DSP and help bring your projects together with ease.

Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop- December

Welcome to the Letโ€™s Craft Together Blog Hop!
We are a group of Australian Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ Demonstrators who love sharing our creative ideas with you. Weโ€™re so happy youโ€™re joining us and hope to inspire you to create projects of your own. Each month, we feature different ideas based on products, themes, or creative challenges โ€” so thereโ€™s always something new to enjoy!

Our challenge this monthโ€”set by me, Michele Jutrisa, is a โ€˜Christmas Challengeโ€™ to create a Christmas Decoration for your tree. We hope this inspires you to get creative and craft a lovely decoration for your home or Christmas tree.

Traditions of Christmas

I have a tradition in my home where each year I add a new Christmas ornament to our tree. Last year it was a beautiful ornament my son and his girlfriend brought back from Amsterdam. Other years it has been something special Iโ€™ve found, been gifted, or created myself.
So for December, I decided our challenge simply had to be to create something special for your tree using Stampin’ Up!ยฎ products.

For my project, I chose to work with products from the Traditions of Christmas Suite, paired with the Large Gold Hoops and the All Seasons Velvet Specialty Paper.

How I Created..

Using the Christmas Greenery Dies, I cut pine branches from Gold Foil and Secret Sea cardstock, and holly leaves from the green velvet Specialty Paper. With the Traditional Label Dies, I cut three labels from Basic White cardstock and stacked them to create a thicker bannerโ€”the top piece stamped before layering.

To attach the bow and foliage to the hoop, I used two small circles cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. For one circle, I folded a bow shape (not knotted) and stapled it to the centre. For the second circle, I placed the hoop on top and added both large and mini dimensionals on either side to secure the hoop in place. Because of how I wanted the elements to sit, I positioned most of the circles on the inside of the hoop.
After removing the Dimensional backings, I adhered the bow circle on top, creating a strong base for layering all the decorative elements.

The opposite ends of the branches were then attached directly to the hoop using glue dots, allowing everything to sit neatly and securely.

The banner was attached to the hoop using dimensionals, and the holly leaves were secured with Mini Glue Dots. To finish them off, I added red Traditional Sparkling Sequins to the hollyโ€”one in each sizeโ€”for the perfect festive touch.

Christmas Swing Easel Card

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escapeโ€”I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On Fridayโ€™s Live with Michele I created the last of my study of Easel Cardsโ€”this one a Swing Easel Cardโ€”again featuring the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ.

The Swing Easel Card features a clever mechanism created with a combination of folds and precise cuts using your trimmer. When scoring and cutting, take extra care not to slice through the mechanism itselfโ€”as Iโ€™ve accidentally done more than once! I found it really helpful to lightly mark the sections that shouldnโ€™t be cut before starting.

If youโ€™d prefer a smaller swing section, simply widen the border when you make your cuts. This gives you greater control over the size and look of the finished card.

Diamond Easel Card

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escapeโ€”I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On Fridayโ€™s Live with Michele I created another Easel Cardโ€”this time a Diamond Easel Cardโ€”again featuring the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ.

Iโ€™m so pleased with how this card turned out. Using the softer colours of Crumb Cake and Soft Sea Foam gives it such a delicate, elegant look.

This fold might look complicated, but itโ€™s actually quite simple. It has lots of layered elements; you just need to pay attention to the direction of your Designer Series Paper printsโ€”which I walk you through in the video.

This card is approximately 15.5 cm square, so you may need to create a custom envelope to fit it.

I based my measurements on a card by Teri Pocock that I found on Pinterest.

JOY Easel Card

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escapeโ€”I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

Today I have another Easel Card to share with you, created with the beautiful Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ.

Iโ€™m really enjoying this paper packโ€”itโ€™s so versatile and makes creating festive projects quick and easy. For this card, I wanted something simple but striking, so I used the Party Alphabet Dies to spell out the word JOY as my main focal point. The clean letters paired with the patterned paper give the card a fresh, modern look while still keeping that classic Christmas feel.

Easel Cards are always a favourite of mine because they stand so nicely on display, and this one came together so effortlessly with these products.

Window Easel Card

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escapeโ€”I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On this weekโ€™s Live with Michele, I created a fun Window Easel Card using the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up!ยฎ.

This card design was inspired by a beautiful creation I saw on Instagram by Avee Renee. Her card featured a striking black background with white daisies โ€” it was simply stunning! I loved the idea and decided to recreate it using products I already had in my craft stash.

The frame of my card was made using the Gallery Blooms Dies, and I adjusted the overall card size to suit the dimensions of the frame. For the top layer, I used the rich Green Velvet from the All Seasons Velvet Specialty Paper to give it a luxurious texture and finish.

Inside the window frame is a strip of Window Sheet, which acts as a base to attach your decorative elements. This gives the effect that your pieces are floating within the frame โ€” a really fun technique that adds extra interest and depth to your design.

Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop – November

Welcome to the Letโ€™s Craft Together Blog Hop!
We are a group of Australian Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ Demonstrators who love sharing our creative ideas with you. Weโ€™re so happy youโ€™re joining us and hope to inspire you to create projects of your own. Each month, we feature different ideas based on products, themes, or creative challenges โ€” so thereโ€™s always something new to enjoy!

๐ŸŽ„ Challenge Theme: Christmas with a Twist!
Our challenge this month, created by Tracy Held, is to make a Christmas card using a non-Christmas product. Itโ€™s a fun way to stretch your creativity and see your supplies in a whole new light!

Beautiful Gallery

I ended up creating two cards for this hop as I couldn’t decide which one I liked better. So I decided to show both and let you work out which one you liked. Both cards use the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! ยฎ

Card 1

For this card, I chose to take the Designer Series Paper right to the edge of the Basic Black card base for a bold, full-coverage look. The paper features dark images on a deep background, so to bring in more colour and contrast, I stamped over the trees using the โ€˜squiggleโ€™ stamp from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set in Old Olive.

To finish the design, I created an Embellishment Cluster for the sentiment. The Holly leaves were die cut using the Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder from All Seasons Velvet Specialty Paper. As the die only partially cuts, I fussy cut the connecting areas to separate the leaves. The bow, from the Christmas Greenery Dies, is also cut from the same velvet paper, adding soft texture and dimension. The sentiment comes from the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

Card 2

This card is a much simpler design. I used a piece of Designer Series Paper that looks like a charcoal drawing of a street lined with trees and houses โ€” it has such a lovely sketch-like quality.

To create the card, I simply stamped โ€œMerry Christmasโ€ from the Jolly Holly Stamps in Real Red directly onto the paper. The panel was then trimmed down and matted with Real Red cardstock for a crisp border. To finish, I wrapped a length of Real Red Shiny Ribbon around the card front and tied another small piece into a simple knot for added texture and detail.

Two very different cards made using paper from the same Designer Series Paper pack โ€” each with its own charm! Which one is your favourite? I love both, but Iโ€™m especially drawn to the simplicity and elegance of Card 2.

Christmas Easel Card

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escapeโ€”I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On yesterdayโ€™s Live with Michele, I created this Easel Card using the Christmas Tags & More 6″ x 6″ Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper by Stampinโ€™ Up!ยฎ.

This paper pack includes 32 sheets โ€” 8 each of 4 double-sided designs, plus 4 single-sided sheets of pre-cut designs (2 of each). These are perfect for creating card fronts, tags, and quick festive projects.

This Easel Card is one of the most basic styles, giving you all the fundamentals of how an easel card is created.
