  • Tag, Seaside Spray scrap – 5 x 5cm
  • Band – Seaside Spray – 2 x 10.5cm
  • Card Insert, Basic White – 10 x14.4cm

Instructions

  • Cut and score all cardstock and DSP

  • Attach the mat to the Card front using either Seal or Multi-purpose glue
  • Run the Seaside Spray Band though the Embossing Machine with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the card front. The bottom edge of the band is about 7cm from the top of the card base. It is NOT centered, but off center. (hope this makes sense)
  • Hydrangea Haven stamp set is a 2 step Stamp.
  • Label (Basic White)- stamp the Hydrangea outline onto the basic White using the Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Pad.
  • Using the Rococo Rose Ink Pad stamp the flower head and Old Olive for the Leaves/stems.
  • Using the Label die from the Painted Labels, die cut the image.
  • Tag, Basic White cardstock – stamp some of the small flowers and leaves from the stamp set using Seaside Spray & Old Olive Stampin’ Pads, keeping them close together. With Memento Tuxedo Black ink stamp the small Thank You Sentiment over the top of the flowers and leaves. Die cut the tag die from the stamped image and cut a second tag from the Seaside Spray Cardstock. Place the stamped tag on top of the Seaside Spray tag matching the holes and glue together using a small amount of glue.
  • Wrap some White twin from the Snail Mail Combo Pack around the label 3 times tie of into a bow. Using a Glue dot add the tags under the bow.
  • Add dimensionals to the back of the label..do not put them to close to the edge as we will be slipping the leaves underneath. Attach the label to the card front towards the left hand side of the card.
  • Die cut 2-3 leaves from the Old Olive Cardstock, separate the leaves from the stems.
  • Place a little bit of Multi-purpose glue to the stem end of the leaves and tuck them under the label. the other end is not glued down so they have a little bit of lift.
  • Place a pearl onto the Basic White Tag and anoth2 small pearls onto the label.
  • Adhere the card insert to the inside of the card.

Well Suited – Happy Birthday

Hi and welcome today to my Blog.

Today’s card is a simple Black, White and Gold card for you… I made this card using Handsomely Suited Stamp set from the Well Suited Suite and the Gilded Leafing Embellishment by Stampin’ Up!. This was my first play with it, keeping it really simple until i work it all out. What do you think?

Well Suited by Stampin' Up!

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the images using VersaMark. I placed the Bow Tie and the sentiment onto the Stamparatus and stamped, then moved the hinged plates down two spaces and stamped again.

Sprinkle the Heat & Stick Powder over the top, removed the excess and heat with the Heat Gun. Working quickly I dipped the card front into the Gilded Leafing and gentle pushed down. Working lightly with a piece of sponge gently brush off the excess Gilding Leaf. In areas that didn’t take with the Gilding I heated up with the Heat Gun again.

Two things to be careful of…

  • The Gilding Leaf comes in a jar, purchase a large plastic box to pour it into. You will need a box about the size of a card front or bigger and next time I may only empty half the jar not all of it…a little bit of this stuff goes a long way and there’s more in that jar than you think.
  • I found the sponge a little harsh, I’m going to get myself a Stippling brush and try. I found the Sponge was a little too harsh..you need to pounce the Gilding on. So it needs to be firm but then soft enough to bush away the excess Gilding.

Berry Blessings Stamps & Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper

Hi and welcome today to my Blog.

There is only a few weeks left of Sale-A-Bration…so be sure you don’t miss out!

The card I have made today is using the Berry Blessings Bundle and is found on page 14-15 of the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue by Stampin’ Up!. The stamp set – Berry Blessings has 13 Photopolymer stamps and is a two step stamp. Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper has 12 sheets of 12 x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5cm) paper, 2 of each of the 6 double sided designs.

You can earn this Level Two bundle when you spend $180.

Berry Blessings Stamps & Berry Delight Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up!

This bundle co-ordinates with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle found in the Stampin’ Up! 2021 Jan- Jun Mini Catalogue on page 44.

The colours in these Designer Series papers are very bright and fresh. To soften the DSP I added a layer of Vellum, this allowed the print of the berry to stand out from the plaid behind. The Berry DSP was die cut using one of the dies from the Ornate Layers. The stamped images were stamped onto one of the circles from the Stitched Shapes Dies.
