Painterly Pears Z-Fold Card

Hi there, and welcome!
Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or simply a creative escape—I’m so glad you’ve stopped by.

On yesterday’s Live with Michele, I shared a card created with the Painterly Pears Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! ®. This is a truly stunning suite, with the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper taking centre stage.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be exploring different styles of Z-Fold cards, and I plan to use the Painterly Pears Suite Collection in each one. By the end, we’ll have a beautiful collection of coordinated projects—perfect to bundle up as a heartfelt gift!

The Painterly Pears stamp set features beautifully textured images that give a lovely three-dimensional effect. By blending a couple of ink colours, the pears come to life—so realistic, they almost look good enough to eat!

Be sure to check back each week to follow along and see what fold style we try next. And I’d love to hear from you—leave a comment and let me know your favourite card fold style!

Extraordinary Flora

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele’ I created this card using the Extraordinary Flora Bundle by Stampin’ Up! ®.

Extraordinary Flora – White on White Elegance

The Extraordinary Flora is a beautifully versatile bundle featuring a large stamp and die set. While the stamped images are small, the coordinating die cuts them all out in one single pass—making it a real time-saver! Back in-stock soon (available from 21 July), the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape can also be used with the same die for even more creative possibilities.

For this card, I’ve created a white-on-white design that’s full of interest and dimension thanks to the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. The subtle texture adds elegance while keeping the palette soft and clean.

To bring in some gentle colour, I stamped the small floral images from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set and coloured them using Stampin’ Up! Watercolour Pencils (both Packs 1 & 2). I then blended the colour using the Stampin’ Blends Colour Lifter—an alcohol-based tool—which allowed me to safely use Memento Tuxedo Black Ink for stamping.

    Jolly Holly

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

On ‘Live with Michele’ I created another card using the Jolly Holly Bundle by Stampin’ Up! ®.

Having another play with the Jolly Holly Bundle!
For this card, I used the coordinating die from the bundle that partially cuts the holly, allowing the petals to be lifted and layered over the frame for added dimension. The holly is coloured with Stampin’ Up!® Watercolor Pencils and blended using the Colour Lifter from the Blends range. The frame is from the Beautiful Motifs die set and perfectly highlights the holly detail.

    Holly Jolly

Hi there, and welcome! Whether you’re here for inspiration, ideas, or just a creative escape—I’m so happy you’ve stopped by.

🎥 On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele’, I created this festive card using the Holly Jolly Bundle by Stampin’ Up!®.
It’s full of classic Christmas charm—with just the right touch of sparkle to make it shine!

To add a bit of festive shimmer, I used Metallic Enamel Effects, lightly applied to the embossed holly using a dauber. This gave the card subtle texture and a gorgeous glimmer that catches the light beautifully.

I also used the coordinating dies to cut out the stamped images and added some dimension to bring everything to life.

📺 Missed the live? No worries—you can catch the replay and see the step-by-step process!

    Boho Vibes

On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele’ I created this card using the Boho Vibes Collection Suite by Stampin’ Up! ®.

This is the first time I have had a chance to play with this suite of products. The dies are fun and playful looking and would work well in cards for both young and older friends and family.

For this card I have used the 2025-2027 In-Colors Cardstock, Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger and Darling Duckling.

I die cut all the arches in each of the In-Colors so I could play with combinations. The one thing I would do next time is add Adheisive Sheets to the back of each colour as they are a little fiddly to add glue too.

Below you will find the YouTube Video to watch., hope you enjoy. If you do please subscribe to my Chanel.

    Tired Hexagon Pop-Up Card

On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele’ I created this fun fold card- Tired Hexagon Pop-Up Card. Last week I also show cased this fun fold for the Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop, this time time I wanted to recreate my card showing how I made it and a few little tips I learnt in making both cards.

For today’s card I used the Heirloom Arrangements Kit by Stampin’ Up! ® to decorate my card.

This card I found on Youtube – Sam Calcott UK- Mixed Up Craft. The card Messurements she used were for a finished card size of 5 x 7 “.

I have converted these measurements for a card size of 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 ¼ x 5 ½”). This means that this card will fit in our standard envelope.

This card is a lot of fun and elements you add brings it alive.

My biggest tip is…..Plan out what elements you want to add, remember less is more. The first one I put everything into it, maybe over filled it. Yesterdays card is paired back a lot, start from the back and build forward, allow room to see the layers behind.

    Mixed Florals

On yesterday’s ‘Live with Michele’ I created this card using products from the Mixed Media Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! ®. From this suite I used the Mixed Florals Bundle and the sentiment from the Mixed Labels Bundle.

I have had this suite of products sitting on my desk for about a month…I’ve made scrapbook pages, but I hadn’t inked up the stamps until now. It was so good to get out my blends again and do some colouring with them.

Do you have a technique you haven’t used for a while? Why not find some time and do it again and just enjoy the moment.
