I love a GOOD project
and better still I love one that is easy to put together and can be shared or used.
This year in the Holiday Catalogue Stampin’ Up have given us another

Global Design Project have given us this week a “Sketch Challenge”
And I thought why not give you a sneak peak at one of the new Stamp Sets from the Catalogue,
using the challenge. So here’s the Challenge.

This is such a cute set and really great if you enjoy colouring in.
So using the Blender Pens and the Stamp Pads I spent a lovely afternoon
colouring in and bring these little guys to life…..

Its been a long time…I have busy over the last month or two with
a new shop that has opened here in my local town. Its called Highland Handmade
( have made reference to it in other posts), in making products to sell.
Good news I’m back!
I have also updated my blog and worked out how to use Lightbox Plugins…
so now you can enlarge the pictures I add.
(so exciting!)
Well this weeks Challenge from Global Design Project is a Colour Challenge
Love these 3 colours together, so fresh and since its almost spring I had to do something with flowers.
Now this wasn’t an easy…..I had an idea in my head and everytime time I stamped I made a mistake.
So after multi attempts, this morning it all came together.
These flowers and leaves are a 3 step stamping process.
!. Stamp the outline image of the flower
2. Stamp the flower all over colour ( stamping off to lighten colour onto scratch paper)
3. Stamp detail image.
I have also layered the flowers using a Masking Technique.
The beautiful sentiment I have used from the Floral Phrases Stamps
The inside of the card I have used some of my extra card fronts….trimming the bottom away and mounting it onto
a piece of Daffodil Delight
Now I just need to workout how I’m going to use all the extra flowers I have…LOL!

This is such a beautiful bundle….and how we love BUNDLES!

Yesterday I started working on the cards that we will be making at “Coffee’n’Card” Tuesday (2nd August)
and this will overlap to our Friday Night Card class with 2 extra cards to match.
The Card on the right was CASed from a card Stampin’ Up! suggested for a class,
but I have made a couple of small changes and now it would also make a fantastic Christmas Card…
just by changing the sentiment.
Here is a card that I have been working on using sponging to get the different tones on my flowers.
I used 4 different colours for the flower head – Pink Pirouette, Sweet sugarplum, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder.
And for the stem – Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.
Once completed and cut..a bit of scrunching a touch of “Wink of Stella”
(maybe a bit more than a touch- I squeezed a bit too hard), and a few peals to finish.
Remember this is ONLY available for one month starting on the 2nd of August

Starting from Tuesday the 26th July I will be holding a Coffee and Card morning every Tuesday
between 10 -12 pm.Cost is $8 to make one card and $12 for two cards.
This is a great way to have a go at making a card and to make new friends.
Everything will be prepared for you, so there will be no fuss.
There will be a little bit of stamping and punching out your design.
Hopefully lots of laughter and chatter because I love a good chat…
