Poppy Moments See Through Card
Hi and welcome to my Blog today.
This week I have been working a special for a very special person, my Mother as her birthday is not far away.
Poppy Moments See Through Card
For this card I have used the products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite found in the Stampin’ Up! ® Mini Catalogue.
I have ‘CASED’ this card from Jennifer McGuire. She has a wonderful video showing how to make a this card.
In making this card I have made a couple of changes from the products Jennifer used.
- I have used products from the Stampin’ Up! ® 2020 Mini Catalogue – Poppy Moments Dies
- This card is a three fold card and by having the fold to the side instead of the top I was able to make the card base with only the join to card front.
This card was not a hard card to make but I did have to play with it to get the layout of flowers and leaves the way I wanted it.
Jennifer suggests to use ‘Glad Press’n Seal’, glad I had this in my stash as it would have taken a lot longer with out it. When removing it, take it very slow and gently so not to damage the die cuts.

Forever Blossoms – Partial Die Cut
Hi and welcome to my Blog.
Today’s card was inspired by a video from Jennifer McGuire on Partial Die Cuts.
What is ‘Partial Die Cutting?
Partial Die cutting is just what it says… your only cutting part of the die. But in this case we are using two dies and on each one your cutting only a part of the die. The products I used for my card are Stampin’ Up! ® Forever Blossoms Bundle and Stitched so Sweetly Dies.
I found it wasn’t as easy as it looked at first and it took me about 6 attempts to get something that I was happy with. The down side of this technique is now my dies are slightly bent…they still work so that’s OK.
The image was then coloured using Stampin’ Up! ® Blends.
Products & Measurements used…
- Forever Blossoms Bundle
- Stitched so Sweetly Dies
- Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.
- Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon
- Thick Whisper White Cardstock – Card Base 21 x 14.9 cm, score 10.5cm
- Whisper White Cardstock – Large Mat 10 x 14.4cm, Small Mat 8.5 x 11.5 cm & 10.5 x 14.9 cm for the stamped and die cut image
- Basic Black Cardstock – small scrap for sentiment
- Blends- Old Olive Light, Mossy Meadow light, Flirty Flamingo Dark, So Saffron dark & Light.
- White Embossing Powder
How did I make this card…
- Stamping, die cutting & colouring the image – I would suggest watching Jennifer McGuire’s video
- On either side on the label portion of the cut out I punched a small hole so later ribbon can be threaded through.
- Colour a length of Ribbon as per video linked below.
- With smaller mat piece (8.5 x 11.5 cm) cut with one of the scallop stitch die from the Stitched so Sweetly dies and emboss with Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.
- Adhere the two mats together.
- Place dimensionals onto the back of the die cut image..DO NOT remove the backings
- How to thread the ribbon – start at the left hole and take one end of the ribbon from the back to the front. At this point you can place the mats under the image (do not remove backings from the dimensionals). Then take the ribbon behind the mats and across to the left side. Put the two ends of the ribbon together and thread through the right hole on the stamped image. While the ribbon is loose remove backings from the dimensionals and adhere in place. Tie a bow and trim.
- With Multi Purpose Glue attach the mats to card base.
- Sentiment – stamp sentiment onto a piece of basic Black cardstock using VersaMark and White Embossing Powder. Adhere the sentiment to card with the mini dimensonals.

Peaceful Poppies
Hi and welcome to my Blog.
Wow! What a world we are living in at the moment…ever changing and it seems day by day. I Pray that you are all keeping safe and healthy at this time. Everything just seems so unreal…I keep hoping that I will wake up and this will be all over. But that unfortunately isn’t happening.
The other morning I opened my daily devotional book I’m reading and it said ‘ Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying ,pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Philippians 4:6-7’
It was wonderful to read these words, it gives me great comfort as like many of us our family are spread far and wide. We have to hand over to God all our fears and worry, knowing that he has it all worked out, no matter what happens God is in control. So lets Pray together to God for his Blessings and healing and to give us peace of mind and heart.
Today I want to share with you 3 cards I made for my ‘Face to Face’ class I held last month using Stampin’ Up!® products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite. This suite of products are in the Mini Catalogue and are available until June from my On-Line Store.
I have also made a tutorial for each of these cards, so that you too can have a go at making them. While we are taking shelter in our homes at this time having something to make and share with others is great for our peace of minds.
Each of the cards are simple to make but also with each one the skill level will steps up.
If you don’t live in Australia and you use the US Letter Size cardstock, you may have to adjust the measurements to work for your cardstock. The only adjustments you would have to make is the Card base size and mat size.
I hope this encourages you to make these cards, as I said the Peaceful Poppies Suite is still available to purchase. Order yours today, make them with your family and enjoy the time together.
Keeping you all in my Prayers.

Ornate Garden
Hi and welcome to my Blog.
The card I have made today was so much fun to make and it was inspired by Scrappy Strip Technique by Bruno Bertucci
It’s a great way to use up all those of-cuts and it’s not as hard as it looks.
Bruno has done a video on this and you can find it on Kylie Bertucci YouTube Channel.
I must say I am in love with this beautiful die from the Ornate Boarder Dies.
The products I have used are from Stampin’ Up! ® Ornate Garden Suite which is an Early Release product from the up coming new Annual Catalogue 2020-21. You will be able to purchase then products as part of the Early Release on the 1 April until 31 May. If you want these products now then Join my Team. You can add some of these products to your starter Kit
How did I create the Boarder edge?
I have trimmed 2.5cm off the side front of my card base. Then with a 4 cm x 14.9cm strip of cardstock I cut out the die and attached to the front of the card.
I attached strips of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper to a piece of cardstock measuring 15 x 10.5 cm and then trimmed down to 7.8 x 14.9cm, attach to card front with dimensionals.
On Whisper White cardstock stamp your sentiment and cut using the stitched frame die from the Ornate Layer Dies.

March International Blog Highlights – Thank You
Hi and Welcome to my Blog post today
For today’s card I have used two of my favorite Stampin’ Up! ® products… the Peaceful Poppies Suite Bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalogue and the Pigment Sprinkles from the Annual Catalogue.
The Pigment Sprinkles gives you such beautiful intense colour by adding more pigment. If you don’t need to have the colour so intense use less pigment, more water and blot some of the the colour away.
I just love the colour…so it’s bright and beautiful, the way I like it.
The Peaceful Poppies Suite is……
beautiful, stunning and worth investing in if you haven’t already. This card I have used the Peaceful Moments Dies and the Painted Poppies Stamps.
In the Peaceful Poppies Suite Bundle you get everything …. and you only need to use one ordering number, too easy.
Painted Poppies Suite Bundle 153938
If you don’t want it all you can just purchase individual pieces. Just remember with purchasing the bundles you get the 10% discount.
Now I know your asking what colour combo’s did I use with the Pigment Sprinkles..
So here they are.
This the stamping of the back ground I used Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Pad.
The sentiment is from the Little Ladybug Host Cling Stamp Set, which you can earn by Hosting a “Party” with sales over $500.
The sentiment’ Thank You” was stamped in Versamark onto Basic Black cardstock and embossed with White Embossing Powder.
I have added my card to Kylie Bertucci’s International Stampin’ Up!® Blog Highlights for February Theme- Thank you.

The dies were released early this month as part of the Coordination Products Release. They will only be available while stocks last, if you want them order them now!
I love feathers and creating coloured feathers, so when the dies came out I had to have them. There are two dies that cut feathers, one is a frame die that cuts around the stamped image of a feather & the other is a cuts and embosses a larger feather. I have only used the embossed die for the colourful feathers on my card.

- On the half sheet of Whisper White I sponged two sets of colours- Melon Mambo & Mango Melody, Gorgeous Grape & Coastal Cabana. Blending the two colous together Then using the die I cut the feathers out, making sure that the feathers were placed over the top where the two colours blended together.

- Run the Whisper White for the card front through the Big Shot using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. Then run it through again, this time with the Frame from the Natures Thoughts Dies.
- Stamp the Sentiments onto the card front using Tuxedo Black Momento Ink
- Choose two of the feathers and adhere them down with Multipurpose Liquid Glue overlapping them slightly.
