Welcome to Let’s Craft Together, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!® friends and Independent Demonstrators from Australia. We love to crafting together and challenging each other each month to create new projects which we want to share with you. Each month we will be showing different ideas based around products, themes and challenges. So I hope you can join us and follow along with our Blog Hops.

Colour Challenge #001

Our first Challenge for 2023 is a Colour Challenge, using colours that gives you the feel of ‘Summer Fun’

Dainty Delight

Dainty Delight Bundle 160675 is a new bundle from the Jan- April 2023 Stampin’ Up! ® Mini Catalogue. It is just as the name says “dainty’. The bundle includes dies that cut out the stamped images, it also includes extra flowers, leaves and this beautiful ‘Vine’. Layer them altogether to create amazing floral elements for cards and scrapbook pages.

For my card today I have stamped one of the floral images with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured it with the Blends from the challenge colour palette. All 6 colours were used and below is an image showing were they are used.

Under the flowers I added the ‘Vine’ Die cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock, this just gives a nice base for the floral image. I also added 2 die cut pieces, cut from vellum and lightly coloured using Highland Heather Blends.

I love the new embossing folder, Cane Weave 3D 160580. It is part of the Regency Park Suite Collection 160583 and it is a brilliant base for this card. I can see I will be using this one a lot.

The Sentiment ‘Happy Birthday’ comes from the Sentimental Park 160561 stamps which is also from the Regency Park Suite Collection 160583.

Framed Florets Birthday – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

Welcome to Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own. Today our Blog Hop is about ‘Birthdays’ and I have used the Framed Florets Collection for my card.

Happy Birthday – Framed Florets

Last chance to play with this Fitting Florets Collection before it’s gone. The good thing is that the Framed Florets Bundle will be in the coming Jan- April 2023 Mini Catalogue by Stampin’ Up! ®.

I have gone a bit ‘Shabby’ with this card, with torn and rolled edges on the layers of DSP and cardstock. The top layer of Balmy Blue cardstock has been embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder to give it that added texture.

The edges to both layers I have either torn or run the blade of my snipes along to distress them.

The sentiment was stamped using Night of Navy Ink and fussy cut. A large double bow made using white bakers twine added behind the sentiment, with the sentiment raised on dimensionals.

Don’t throw away those flowers along the edges, fussy cut them out and add them to the inside of your cards

Gift Card Holder -Boughs of Holly

Creativity Abounds Blog Hop is about Packaging using Stampin’ Up!® product. My project is a Gift Card Holder using Boughs of Holly and more.

I love Gift Card Holders, as my boys have grown up into young men living away from home it makes it so easy now to just give them a Gift Card for Birthdays, Christmas or just because you want to.

But how do you wrap them to make them special. I like to decorate them , make them special.

This gift holder I CASED from one I found on Pinterest and I found one by Studio 490 Now she made hers using a large tag…I had a look at all our supplies and thought ‘Yep” I can do that….so using Boughs of Holly and a few added extras this is what I came up with. Did you catch “Live with Michele” this week…I made a card using the Boughs Of Holly Designer Series Paper and Hope and Peace Stamp Set.

Hope and Peace stamps has a wonderful collection of Christian Sentiments. These can be used on the front of your card as well as inside your card. They can be teamed up with different papers and other stamp sets.

Storybook Gnomes – Live with Michele

So tell me, what do you think of the Storybook Gnomes Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! ® ?

This is such a simple suite to use….if your not sure on how to colour the images. Then the Storybook Gnome DSP is already done for you and the dies that come in the Kindest Gnome Bundle will cut the Gnomes and Mushroom houses. It makes card making so quick and simple. But of course if you want to step it up…stamp the images onto Basic White cardstock and colour them in with you Blends.

For my card I kept it simple and die cut my DSP…see the video linked below.

Boughs of Holly – October Stamp Camp

Come and JOIN me at Boughs of Holly Stamp Camp it is 24 hours of FUN and INSPIRATION

Join me and the other Demonstrators from the Creativity Abounds Design Team on a 2 day International Stamp Camp. Dates for this event are 29-30th October were we will be featuring the Boughs of Holly.

Our design team comes from all over the globe so every 2 hours (Approx.) there will be another project and challenges happening. There will be ‘Make and Takes’ for 13 projects and PDF for you to follow along while creating also YouTube videos for each of the projects.
