I spend a lot of time watching interesting YouTube Videos by different card makers both Stampin’ Up! and others. Learning new techniques and ideas on different ways to create cards. I take these ideas and then try to recreate cards using Stampin’ Up! products. They wont be exactly the same as these are my interpretations.
This card was taken by ideas from Lavinia Stamps . I love the use of layers created by different stamps around a masked circle
My card uses a variety of stamps, with the Dainty Delight Stamps being the feature in the center and around the edges.
Other stamps used
Dainty Delight – Flowers in Smoky Slate & Branches in Evening Evergreen, stamped and stamped off
Quite Meadow – the words stamped off in Smoky Slate
Forever Fern – Dots stamped in Fresh Freesia
Eden’s Garden – leaves in Soft Succulent
Measurements Used…
The card below is the test card I made before my ‘Live’…instead of Smoky Slate I used Pear Pizzazz, Shimmery White Cardstock and a tent fold.

The card I made last week is made using the Fancy Flora Suite Collection, which I made on my ‘Live with Michele’. every Friday at 1pm (AEDT). This week I was running a bit late having too much fun playing with this suite. Have added the link to the video below.
There is a lot is this suite –
Two-Tone Flora Bundle – two step stamps flowers, easy to line up for six beautiful flowers and two one-step leaves. This also has the coordinating dies to cut out your stamped images.
Something Fancy Bundle – 10 sentiments and frame dies that could be used on any card or scrapbook layout
Last weekend the Creativity Abounds Team ran a By the Bay Stamp Camp, it was so much fun. Kylie Swain gave us a Colour Challenge and this card I made using her challenge.

Here is my card that I created for the camp and this hop.
This card is made of layers, of Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay Cardstock. The circle background was created by colouring vellum with Stampin’ Blends (Tahitian Tide & Bermuda Bay) and 99% Alcohol. I wanted the alcohol background to give the feeling of movement and water.
To see how I created this background, see my video using this technique HERE, from a few years ago.
The card Insert kept very simple….

Welcome to Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop. We are a group of Australian Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own. Each month we will be showing different ideas based around products, themes and challenges.
Our Theme this month is Rain or Shine Suite Collection. This is just a little taste of whats to come with our our first Stamp Camp happening on 4th March, which I hope you can join us...HERE are the details.
This card I have used my Blends to colour the Rabbit in and also some Paper Piecing to give him a coloured jacket.
I love a matted card front, it can give it a different feel or make what elements you use ‘POP!’. This card has a white on white card base and card mat. The DSP and Velum have been cut to size using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. The vellum making the fun little rabbit stand out.
How to make this card…
Adhere the DSP Panel to the Card Mat.
Using a small amount of Seal adhere the Vellum to the DSP, it is placed more to the left of the card. Make sure the placement of the seal will be hidden under the Rabbit.
A length of ribbon was wrapped around the card and attached behind the card mat.
Adhere the matted card front to the card base.
The Rabbit was stamped onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and also onto a piece of DSP.
He was coloured using Blends – Gray Granite and Flirty Flamingo.
Paper Piecing – The jacket was cut from the DSP using a craft knife and Glass Plate (see my Video on Fussy Cutting made on this a few years back)
After cutting the Rabbit using the coordinating dies adhere the jacket onto the Rabbit
With dimensionals attach the rabbit to your card front.
Tie a separate bow and adhered with a glue dot to the left of the Rabbit
Sentiment was stamped into a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut using one of the smaller Layering Circle Dies. Using one of the small blending brush blend on Balmy Blue ink around the edges. Adhere to card front with multi-pupose glue.
On the Card Insert I have also added a DSP strip and a length of Ribbon but instead of a bow I just tied a half knot, so as the card is not too bumpy inside.
Adhere the insert into the inside of the card.

Stamp Camp – Rain or Shine
I hope you can Join us on the 4th March for a fun day of crafting with the ‘Let’s Craft Together Team’.
Today on my ‘Live’ I created this great Fun Fold, this is another interesting find on Instagram that I just had to try. I have used the Hand-Penned Petal Stamps and coordinating Penned Flowers Dies. The Designer Series Paper used for this card is from the Dainty Flowers 12 x12″ found in the current Sale-A-Bration. When you spend $90 or $180 you can earn a product for FREE from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. Links to Catalogues and my Online Store can be found towards the end of my post.
Today’s card I used the By the Bay Suite Collection in the 2023 Mini Catalogue by Stampin’ Up!®. The By the Bay 6 x 6″ DSP is the hero of this suite, the designs are stunning.
How to create this card…
The Sea Grasses were cut from DSP using two of the dies and the shells I cut from Basic White cardstock and coloured with Blends – Colypso Coral & Petal Pink. The shells were then lightly curved using a Bone Folder.
The sentiment was stamped in Night Of Navy Ink onto the sentiment strip.
Three of the Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls attached to card.
A strip of the DSP was added to the side edge of the card

The card I made on my Live this week is a ‘Fun Fold Stepper Inspiration with a hidden Note‘. I found this card while going through some Instagram Reels, it was made by Yasmin Diaz. I have made it using the Framed Florets Bundle, Cane Weave 3D Embossing folder and the sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments Stamps by Stampin’ Up!®.
I like this card because it is different from any other card I’ve seen. They have called it a step card but there is only a small step and I think if you made the step more pronounced the actual card would become very thing and tall looking. Hidden in the middle of the card is a tent fold Note Card where you can write your greeting.
After the Live had finished I decided to add White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon to the Note Card, tied so the bow is at the side. Just so the person who receives the card can see there is a hidden Note card with a message.
Blends to colour the flowers and Leaves –
Granny Apple green
Old Olive
Pool Party
Petal Pink
Calypso Coral
Daffodil Delight
I could also see this card made with out the note card and with a cello bag attached inside with some special treats or a gift inside. You could punch a hole at the top and tie with a ribbon. Would make a great table decoration for each of your Guests.
